Today Prep Hoops presents our 16U All American Team honoring the top players across the nation that played at the 16u level.

16U First Team All Americans

Anthony Leal of Indiana Elite. The 6-foot-5 guard was a consistent performer for the top team in the nation that won 48 of 50 games. Faced with differing line-ups because of injuries Anthony kept the machine moving.

Chris Moore of Woodz Elite. The Peach Jam title game and the Fab 48 championship saw Chris Moore put on performances that few will forget. Monster numbers coupled with the type of effort that nearly every college coach in the country should look into. What you want in a player.

Jalen Johnson of Phenom University. In year one of the program Jalen Johnson helped make it memorable as the leader of a team that won three championships and was runner-up in two more. A five star talent that led his team to a 40-6 record. Type of year that has placed Johnson among the nation's elite.

Corey Walker of Game Elite Gold. Walker is pushing towards 5-star status at the moment and some of his performances out in Las Vegas were forcing officials to stop the game to move people that wanted a peak. College coaches swarmed as Walker closed in on triple doubles each game.

Aminu Mohammed of Boo Williams. One of the elite 2021 talents in the nation spent his summer nights dropping 30 plus on opponents not just here and there, but several times! The 6-4 wing was one of the most explosive players in 16U all year.

16U Second Team All Americans

Devonta Davis of Woodz Elite. Davis put up 25 points with six assists in the 16u title game in the Fab 48 and had a memorable 24 in the Peach Jam final. Both games were a culmination of a great season that pushed Woodz Elite to the top of the EYBL.

Trevor Keels of Team Takeover. One of the top 2021 players in the nation, Keels played the 16u season as a 14 year old and was often the best player on the floor. Team Takeover finished as a top five team nationally with Keels being the most consistent performer.

Michael Saunders of G3 Grind. Saunders led G3 Grind to the UAA title in Las Vegas plus an event championship in the NYLA. The leading scorer for a solid all around G3 Grind team.

Reece Beekman of Phenom University. The decision maker and the pace setter for a 40 win squad Reece has played his way into about 15 major conference offers including the likes of Wisconsin, Florida, Virginia, USC, and Minnesota.

Dalen Terry of Compton Magic. Dalen was one of the top stock risers of the summer. His outstanding rise to earning several major conference offers as well as his potential pushing up the rankings helped the Magic finish sixth in the nation.

16U Third Team All Americans

Isaiah Cottrell of Dream Vision. A 5-star big that had many dominating nights competing on the Adidas circuit helping him build a giant offer list that includes Kansas, Arizona, and numerous other schools.

Dawson Garcia of D1 Minnesota. A skilled 6-foot-10 prospect with the determination to produce Dawson's play helped D1 Minnesota 16s win the Adidas championship in NYC and finish as a top ten team. Pushing to the top 25 nationally.

Ben Carlson of D1 Minnesota. Carlson continues to mature physically and mentally on the court using his skill and increased strength to be a versatile all around producer. About to be a top 50 talent nationally.

Darius Maddox of Team Durant. The highlights that Maddox produced consistently at the Peach Jam led to him being one of the most talked about prospects at the event. That continued to Orlando when the team won the AAU Super Showcase.

Dwon Odom of Atlanta Celtics. The explosive game of the Xavier committed guard often scared opponents early in the game and then Odom intimidated many with his rapid down hill motor. Aggressively went at opponents for production.

16U Fourth Team All Americans

Jalen Terry of The Family. Played some at both the 16u and 17u level and when he was a the 16u level Terry was dominant. A national ranked top 25 player in his class Terry has another explosive gear that most models of prospect don't come with.

Noah Taitz of Vegas Elite. Noah had one of the shots of the summer when he hit the game winner against Dream Vision at the Fab 48. Vegas Elite is a top 15 team at 16u and a big reason was their top 100 guard Noah Taitz.

Xavier Foster of Pure Prep. When his foot was healthy Xavier was playing at a level that drew coaches from the elite schools in the nation including Kansas, Duke, and others plus of course the local programs.

Trey Galloway of Indiana Elite. A hamstring injury blocked Galloway from a full season of showing his top 100 level ability but when he played Trey was a key reason for the 48-2 IE record.

Jhamir Brickus of WeR1. A good year for WeR1 became a great year for Jhamir and company as Brickus led his team in several categories with big performances in Vegas and Atlanta.

16U Fifth Team All Americans

Caleb Love of BBE. A top 50 level point guard nationally pushed Bradley Beal Elite to many early season wins. Love also played with the 17s a bit at the end of the year but his big impact was made with a strong 16s season.

Justin Champagnie of New Heights. Averaged nearly 20 points per game in UAA play along with six boards a contest for the 16th ranked team overall. Twin brother Julian teamed with Justin to make New Heights one of the elite UAA squads.

DJ Steward of Meanstreets. Steward is a top 100 level player in the 2020 class and his play helped his team be a top ten squad for part for the 16u year. Meanstreets combo of DJ Steward and Tyler Beard should make a big run in the EYBL next season.

Jayden Stone of Team Carroll Premier.   Jayden teamed with Dallas Howell and others to make Team Carroll a top Adidas squad and a consistent top 25 squad nationally. High majors are offering.

Matthew Mors of South Dakota Attack. The 2021 big led his team to a 29-4 season with a Final Four push in the Vegas Classic. After earning his high school team a state title in March, Mors has then started building high major offers as a nationally ranked top 25 talent.

Nathan Bittle of West Coast Elite. One of the top 2021s in the nation, the Oregon 6-foot-10 big had a standout spring playing up on the WCE 16u team. Bittle is expected to be one of the top 25 players in his class nation wide.
