Marian Men’s Basketball Prospect Camp | 2027 Top Performers

The Marian Men's Basketball Prospect Camp brought together a strong group of 2027 prospects, with the majority of the talent coming from across Indiana. Throughout the camp, several players separated themselves with their production, competitiveness, and overall impact on both ends of the floor. Here are some of the Top Performers from the 2027 class at the Marian Men's Basketball Prospect Camp:    The Morristown product was excellent throughout the day. Sharp shooter that got going early and often with his playmaking and shotmaking. Was really good on the defensive end with deflections and was able to live in transition where he got wide open looks from the perimeter and took advantage of every opportunity.     The versatile Wing out of Brownsburg showed off his full offensive repertoire in the cut throat scrimmages as well as 5v5. Physical wing that guards multiple positions and imposes his will on both ends of the floor. Extremely active off the ball. Excellent cutter with good hands with the ability to play under control and finish through contact. Rebounds his position well and is a talented playmaker and passer.     Electric point guard that is just a ball of energy on the floor. Makes his presence felt every possession on both ends of the floor. Head of the snake defensively that pressures full court and wreaks havoc on opposing ball handlers. Lightning quick hands defensively that leads to offensive. Thrives in transition where he uses his elite quickness to get downhill and finish in a variety of different ways. Tight handle with wiggle that allows him to create seperation. Good shooter that was able to get going off the bounce and hit tough shot after tough shot.     Uber Athletic guard that was putting pressure on the rim all camp long. Quick first step to get in the lane and plays well on balance and absorbs contact when finishing at the rim. Comfortable playing on or off the ball. Plays well in the pick and roll with intriguing court vision and playmaking ability. Love his versatility on the defensive end at 6'4” with his ability to guard multiple spots as well as be a big factor on the glass.     Penn High School big man [player_tooltip player_id='2140417' first='Makale' last='Price'] was a man amongst boys in the scrimmage games I got to watch. Physical presence at 6'8” that keeps improving on the offensive end of the floor. Continues to become more comfortable with his back to the basket showing flashes of legit post moves. Becoming more fluid in his movement on both ends of the floor. Showed potential as a pick and pop big man. Defensively he's an anchor in the paint that rebounds and protects the rim. Consistent motor and high effort guy that is a load to handle when fully engaged.     Highly active Wing/Forward that simply plays harder than everyone else on the floor. Was really good all day long showing his versatility. Long and athletic that knows how to use it to his advantage. Always moving on the offensive end. Has a nice inside-out skill set. Capable shooter, but is best when he's attacking off the dribble. High level rebounder that's able to secure defensive stops while creating more opportunities for his team on the offensive glass.     High IQ true point guard that showed his impact on the floor without having to score. Vocal leader in the floor that makes his teammates better. Runs the show and keeps everybody organized. Talented playmaker that can get to spots without a screen. Confident shooter that creates seperation off the bounce and has a quick trigger off the catch. Hard nosed defender that plays steady defense containing his man. Active hands on the ball while communicating and always being in the right spot on rotations.     This was my first time seeing the talented scoring guard out of Yorktown, and it's not out of the question that he was the best player at the camp. Showed his offensive versatility and had a stretch in the scrimmage I got to see him where he rattled off 11 straight points for his team and he was doing it on both ends. Smooth shooter from the perimeter with a quick first step allowing him to get to the rim and showed craftiness to his finishing ability. Defensively he was excellent off the ball playing passing lanes and living in transition.
