The June Scholastic Live Periods of the 2026 NCAA recruiting calendar are fully in the books and it without a doubt delivered plenty of movement in individual prospects' recruitment throughout the state of New Jersey. With a bevy of college coaches spread across primarily NJBCA's Jersey Live and Philly Live's two sessions, a number of New Jersey prospects capitalized on the opportunity, turning strong summer play into increased recruiting momentum. Here's a look at some top performers who elevated their stock by picking up scholarship offers and generating buzz throughout the entire month of June.

[player_tooltip player_id='2683638' first='RJ' last='Wicks'] | 6'6" F 2028 Union Catholic

Playing some of his best basketball as of recently and playing with a increased level of confidence, [player_tooltip player_id='2683638' first='RJ' last='Wicks'] has emerged, at his size and position, as a prospect that offers that unique modern day inside outside skillset that is so coveted amongst forwards and bigs. On track to carve out a legitimate role amongst this new look Union Catholic rotation come the winter time, Wicks has showcased much of that skillset over the course of the two June scholastic live periods— stretching the floor with his perimeter shooting while also making his presence felt in the paint on both ends of the floor. As a result of the intrigue that surrounds his skillset coupled with a number of strong performances, Wicks received his first Division I scholarship offer from Wagner at the beginning of the month of June.

[player_tooltip player_id='2347952' first='Jahlil' last='Owusu'] | 6'3"2027 G Bergen Catholic

Having garnered the reputation as an instant offense type of scorer who can get buckets in spurts, [player_tooltip player_id='2347952' first='Jahlil' last='Owusu'] put together a handful of strong stretches that highlighted his ability to do just that. None more impressive though than his explosive scoring performance at Jersey Live I— a scoring performance that featured his ability to put pressure on the rim in transition, attack driving angles off the bounce and finish with dexterity around the basket, be impactful off the ball as a spot up shooter, and even get to his spots in the mid range area for smooth pull up jumpers. Seeing interest from a handful of programs over the last several weeks, Owusu recently received scholarship offers from both Stony Brook and Division II Felician.

[player_tooltip player_id='2833843' first='Owen' last='Wucherpfennig'] | 6'8" 2028 F Bergen Catholic

The last calendar year or so has seen [player_tooltip player_id='2833843' first='Owen' last='Wucherpfennig']'s development really start to evolve, particularly as he continues to develop physically with his athletic tools beginning to translate more naturally on the floor. Wucherpfennig consistently makes his presence felt in the paint, leveraging his ideal positional size, impressive length, and relentless motor to impact the game on the interior. As a result of showing more and more consistent flashes as of recently, Wucherpfennig received an offer from Fairfield earlier last month during the initial June Scholastic Live Period.

[player_tooltip player_id='2504780' first='Infinite' last='Sincere-AmenRa'] | 6'0" G 2028 Seton Hall Prep

[player_tooltip player_id='2504780' first='Infinite' last='Sincere-AmenRa'] consistently puts defenses under pressure— more particularly as a naturally efficient scorer, he comfortably impacts the game at all three levels, knocking down spot up jumpers from deep, creating his own shot off the dribble, and attacking the basket with creativity. Sincere-AmenRa's recent performances throughout the June Scholastic Live Period(s) have more than suggested that he is a player capable of creating offense with both efficiency and versatility. With college coaches beginning to take notice and show legitimate interest, Sincere-AmenRa has added offers from the likes of Wagner and UCF in recent weeks.

[player_tooltip player_id='2504904' first='Izayah' last='Cooper'] | 6'0" G 2028 Christian Brothers Academy

A floor general who hangs his hat on being extremely unselfish and a more than willing facilitator, [player_tooltip player_id='2504904' first='Izayah' last='Cooper'] showed over the last few weeks what intangibles as a [player_tooltip player_id='3665515' first='PG' last=''] that separate himself from other prospects in his class— a tight handle paired with poise against ball pressure, and exceptional court vision to consistently keep his head up maintaining a commitment to keeping the ball moving. All while remaining a threat to score when offensive opportunities arise. With the traits necessary to be a seamless fit at the [player_tooltip player_id='3665515' first='PG' last=''] position and thrive in any offense, it was no surprise to see NJIT be the first program to officially offer Cooper at the beginning of the June live period.

[player_tooltip player_id='2858268' first='Sean' last='Perrotta'] | 6'1" G 2027 Bloomfield

A guard that consistently plays with brute strength and excellent pace, [player_tooltip player_id='2858268' first='Sean' last='Perrotta'] more often than not thrives at being a downhill playmaker and efficient spot up shooter off the ball— using his sturdy frame to absorb contact and finish through defenders while simultaneously keeping his court vision to find open teammates and create for others. An exceptional perimeter threat as well, Perrotta is more than capable of impacting the game from beyond the three point arc and finding a nice rhythm as an outside shooter. After picking up an offer from Division II Millersville earlier in the spring, Perrotta picked up another offer during the initial June Scholastic Live Period from Division II Felician earlier in the month of June.

[player_tooltip player_id='2397968' first='Connor' last='Junker'] | 6'0" [player_tooltip player_id='3665515' first='PG' last=''] 2028 Gill St. Bernard's

Ultra confident from three point range who hardly ever doesn't see a shot he doesn't like, [player_tooltip player_id='2397968' first='Connor' last='Junker']'s performances during the June Scholastic Live Period(s) have been defined by his tough and confident perimeter shooting, further cementing his reputation as a dangerous and versatile threat from the outside. All while looking to showcase continued growth shouldering playmaking responsibilities. Junker earned an offer from Stonehill during the initial live period and followed that up receiving another offer from Holy Cross at the end of the second June Scholastic Live Period after strong showings at both Jersey Live II and Philly Live II.

[player_tooltip player_id='2504902' first='Jamieson' last='Young']| 6'2" G 2028 Cherry Hill East

[player_tooltip player_id='2504902' first='Jamieson' last='Young'] possesses one of the most intriguing shot making profiles in his class— blending an extremely polished outside shooting stroke and super soft shooting touch with versatility and deep range accuracy to be impactful in a variety of different actions as a shooter. Young's natural shooting instincts, fluid mechanics, and repeatable release allow him to operate as a highly efficient shooter while still maintaining a dangerous self creation element. A guard who's been nothing but productive since entering high school, it was a nice sight to see college programs start to show interest in his skillset with Le Moyne being the first coaching staff to officially offer during the June Scholastic Live Period.
