Westover Team Camp: Class of 2019 players to keep an eye on!
New Life Christian 2019 Jalen Love: He has the size at 6’7-6’8 that schools at the D2/D3 and JC level already find intriguing about him. In the championship game he played solid, rebounding the ball, finishing inside and even showing that he can play with his back to the basket. If he continues to work very hard on his game, he will see his stock rise without a doubt.
Pine Forest 2019 Guard Jordan Gladney: The energy and enthusiasm that he plays with are things that you like to see from a player on your team. The defensive side of the ball is where he impressed us the most, he gets low in a stance and uses his active hands to come up with steals and deflections at a nice rate.
Southern Lee HS 2019 Guard Khalil Ridges: One of the better performers throughout for the Cavs, he is a player that has put together some impressive performances and will need to do even more this season due to graduation and transfers. Before going down with an injury, he played at a very high level with some of his best attributes on full display. Scoring wise he scored it at a nice level from multiple areas on the court, he crashed the boards at a high rate which allowed for extra offensive possessions for his team.
EE Smith HS 2019 Guard Chris Jordan: Does a nice job of slashing to the basket from the guard spot, his scoring ability is something that we liked very much and he will be looked at to provide a nice amount of offense for this team.
EE Smith HS 2019 Forward Odell Gamble: If the Golden Bulls want to be successful this season, they will need consistent production from this young man. He is pretty much their tallest player so rebounding, blocking shots and finishing inside the paint are all things you will want from him.
