Mars Hill University Team Camp Notes
The Mars Hill University basketball team held their team camp this weekend featuring some of the top teams from around the western North Carolina region. Here is a look at some of the top prospects from the camp.
2019’s
Brandon Aumiller (2019), Mountain Heritage HS)-One of the more physically ready guards in the area, Aumiller is a finisher in traffic, has a good handle, and can score from most spots on the floor.
2020’s
Callin Randolph (2020, Mountain Heritage HS)-One of the top shooters in the state, Randolph is a pure form shooter that does not miss very often.
Justus Shelton (2020, Mountain Heritage HS)-Shelton has added 10 pounds of muscle to his frame and is a legit 6-foot-9. He is getting better at his mid-range jump-shot and his footwork is improving.
Lucas Jenkins (2020, Mountain Heritage HS)-Good size, good form on his shot, needs to shoot more.
2021’s
Logan Higgins (2021, Mountain Heritage HS-6’5 combo guard that is smart, has a high IQ, great size at the guard spot. One to watch in the 2021 class.
Carson Redden (2021, Hendersonville HS)-Good handle and smart with the ball in his hands.
Jalen Branton (2021, Mountain Heritage HS)-Dog on defense; shifty; good vision; smart; flashy; makes right passes; shoots it well.
Nathan Ledford (2021, Mountain Heritage HS)-Shooter that can really spread the floor out with Callin Randolph for Mountain Heritage HS. Smart player that makes smart plays.
2022’s
Dwight Cannady (2022, Hendersonville HS)-Slashing guard that is a true freshman, solid start for the young guy. Good size and can get to the rim.
