Harvey did not have a ton of varsity minutes a season ago, but that is going to change. I think he will be the team’s X factor and barometer on the type of season that Regis has. If he plays well, I could see Regis making some noise as he has solid size, a motor, and at the camp was part of the clean-up crew. He was constantly moving, grabbing boards, and going right up with it. He had putback finishes, he screened and rolled, and used his size at the rim. He was also patrolling the paint and making shots difficult for anyone trying to get in and get easy baskets on him. Harvey does plenty of the little things for Regis and will be a player who should have a lot on his plate this upcoming season. Solid weekend for him.

Harvey was one of the few underclassmen who got to play for Regis this season, and this was a year of growth for him. But when he did get to be on the floo,r there were flashes. He can play and does the little things. He rebounds well, he scores when he gets the opportunity, and he understands where to be on the floor. This was a glue guy type of year where he had to make his mark in small spurts, but he got to understand the game. Harvey earned minutes this season by understanding his role, and to start grassroots, he got to show that he could be a big-time scorer when needed. He has good size, he’s strong and flourishes offensively, but also has defensive chops, and I’m excited to see what he looks like by summer’s end. He certainly earned his spot in the rankings.

Harvey is going to be a name to know moving forward and has a chance to really make some noise out of this 2028 class. He has good size, and this weekend he showed that he could do it all. He’s a forward that gave opposing defenses fits for Colorado Magic as he consistently hit the mid-range, was getting to his spots inside, and rising for finishes, and also attacked at the basket. He uses his size, can shoot it up, and can put the ball on the floor for a bit, and that versatility will separate him. He also read the floor and had a few slashes through the lane, where he finished with entertaining dunks. He’ll be making our rankings next week. Buy Harvey stock early.
