New Names For Colleges To Add To The Watchlist
910 Vengeance 2021 Guard Daymon Beckwith: The upside of this youngster is clear, he has a chance to be that next player out of the Jacksonville area that has college coaches coming to town. The difference is that he’s playing a highly competitive AAU schedule early on and spends a nice amount of time at the PG spot. If he continues to work hard and progress, he can be a player that finds his way on the list of quite a few college coaches.
Carolina Wolves 2019 Forward Julian Steinfield: 6’10 with a nice skillset, there is a lot to like about what he brings to the table. One of the top rebounders in the state, he’s not hesitant about mixing it up inside at all. He still is adjusting to the American style of play but his upside is something that college coaches should like a lot.
WBCA 2021 Guard Khalil Marshall: His resume’ for a player that has only played one year of high school basketball is already impressive. With a stat line of 20 Points, 6 Assist, 4 Rebounds and 2 steals as a freshman followed by an impressive performance at the Fab 40 Camp which featured top players from East NC. Marshall was a top 5 scorer at the event that featured mostly upperclassmen, since then he’s been playing at a high level during the spring periods.
WBC Elite 2020 Guard Jajuan Carr: His numbers may not scream at you but if you watch him in game situations you will be impressed with what he brings to the floor. At about 6′ with a nice amount of speed and athleticism, he is the type of PG that you see excelling in hoops in 2018. One of the more humble players that you cross paths with, he’s respectful and puts the team first, regardless of personal stats, he wants to win games.
Team ENC 2019 Wing Dyquavis Wilkins: There is alot to like about his game, he plays with a high amount of energy and has the height and length that you like to see from a wing. He can play above the rim but also has a nice amount of skill fundamentally on the offensive side of the ball but there is plenty of upside left in him to like what type of impact he would make on the court in college.
