Parks' ability to finish plays near the basket is vitally important for Middleton, making it difficult for the opposition to put too much defensive emphasis on just stopping the Cardinals' stellar guards. Parks' ability to provide a physical defensive presence in the lane on the other end makes it tough for opponents to finish in the paint. Parks can attack the basket from the wing or on a dive to the hoop while also having the ability to play and score with his back to the basket. He is having a strong season for a very good Middleton squad as he is averaging 12.6 points per game while shooting 55 percent from the floor. He also tops the Cardinals with 89 rebounds through 11 games (8.1 rpg).
