Evangel Christian has a lot of young and talented guards and Darko is the most productive of the bunch right now. Darko started the opening game of the weekend with a contested rebound and lefty putback layup. To open the second half, Darko caught fire with three 3-pointers in quick succession as Evangel Christian pulled away from host Henry Clay. Darko’s ability to put up points in a hurry is impressive as he has a lot of scoring ability for a rising freshman who has already made his mark at the varsity level.

Darko may be the best 2030 in the state. He’s averaging 16 points per game as an 8th grader for an Evangel team that is super young but is already in the mix for a 6th region title. Tyson is an athletic scorer who gets to the rim consistently and is a capable shooter from range. With his skill set, he’s certainly a name to monitor.
