<p>There is a little bit of snowfall around the state of Indiana, and a lot up in South Bend and The Region, but the basketball gyms are still nice and warm. Prep Hoops Indiana will have boots on the ground coverage from five different games on Friday evening. Logan Greenwell will be taking in three games at the Evansville Harrison Classic. Meanwhile, Kyler Staley will be watching Plainfield at Carmel and I'll have boots on the ground for Westfield versus Hamilton Southeastern. Along with those contests here are five games we will be keeping an eye on this evening.</p>

<p>This will be a great opportunity for Herron-Riverside to prove that they are a dark horse contender in Class 2A. The Argonauts are 12-0 on the season, but are still in need of a signature win to really put themselves on the map. Senior guard Ty Hopper leads the way averaging 14.1 points per game while 6'5" unsigned senior center [player_tooltip player_id='2471414' first='Jase' last='Bennett'] puts up 13.7 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game. Scecina Memorial, who is ranked in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 2A Top 10, is led by 6'5" sophomore forward [player_tooltip player_id='2617866' first='Jaylin' last='Foster'] and senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2477113' first='Bryce' last='Mathis'].</p>

<p>Sophomore duo [player_tooltip player_id='2538870' first='Don' last='Bowling III'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2797660' first='Manu' last='Jackson'] each average 18.0 points per game for Anderson who have rattled off five straight wins to improve to 7-2 on the season. Senior guard Colin Lewis and sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='2538885' first='Ray' last='Bowling'] are two more to watch for the Indians. For Lafayette Jefferson, senior guard Cristian Olson is 26-59 (44.1%) from three-point range and averaging a team-leading 17.2 points per game.</p>

<p>Linton had spent most of the season in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 2A Top 10 until some late December losses knocked them out. The Miners are still 8-3 on the season led by senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1560986' first='Conner' last='Daily'] and Indiana State Football signee [player_tooltip player_id='1560992' first='Paul' last='Oliver']. Bloomfield, who is highly ranked in Class 1A, features [player_tooltip player_id='1560962' first='Blake' last='Neill'] who is one of the top scorers in the state. The 6'6" unsigned senior averages 28.4 points per game.</p>

<p>The game of the night down in the Pocket City area, Prep Hoops Indiana Class 3A #10 Gibson Southern hosts #8 Princeton Community. 6'6" versatile senior forward [player_tooltip player_id='1560964' first='Edwin' last='Holmes'] is the star for Princeton. He stuffs the stat sheet averaging 15.1 points, 8.8 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 2.3 steals per game. Sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='2539928' first='Quintyn' last='Voltz'] also averages 15.1 points per game for the Tigers. On the Gibson Southern side, senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='2891750' first='Reece' last='Runyan'] leads the way at 15.5 points per game while 6'6" junior wing [player_tooltip player_id='2140411' first='Kolton' last='Schmitt'] 14.7 points and 5.2 rebounds per game.</p>

<p>In a battle of Prep Hoops Indiana Class 1A Top 10 teams #1 Kouts will host #9 Washington Township. Kouts will be putting their 8-0 undefeated record on the line. Senior guard [player_tooltip player_id='1559321' first='Lucas' last='Kleckner'] is the star for the Mustangs, but watch out for fellow senior Eli Harper and sophomore guard Billy Miller as well. Washington Township is led by the Banker brothers. Senior guard Kyle Banker averages 12.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, 4.4 assists, and 3.9 steals per game while sophomore guard Brody Banker chips in 11.8 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.8 steals per game.</p>
