The 2026 class just saw a commitment as Blair point guard [player_tooltip player_id='1595679' first='Deron' last='Rippey Jr.'] committed to Duke on Monday. The point guard class still has available talent that can make an impact at the next level. Here are the top available 2026 point guards after Rippey's commitment.

[player_tooltip player_id='1411649' first='Tobe' last='Nwobu'], 6'1 College Achieve

Nwobu is the top available point guard after Rippey's commitment and should make his impact felt this winter. The 6'1 guard has a smooth release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Nwobu is more than just a shooter as he uses his handle to get into the lane and finishes well around the rim. He is an underrated passer and uses his quick hands to get deflections on defense. Nwobu has the ability to put up points in bunches, which should help his stock in a big way.

[player_tooltip player_id='1604422' first='Alex' last='Pace'], 6'2 Camden

Pace has started off the season on fire for the High and should continue playing at a high level when the calendar turns to 2026. The 6'2 guard has a quick first step, which he uses to blow by his defender and can finish in a variety of ways around the rim. Pace can also score in the mid-range and can get hot from distance in a hurry. He can also play off the ball and moves his feet on the defensive end. Pace has four 20-point games already and should have more games like that over the next couple of months.

[player_tooltip player_id='1788762' first='Will' last='Spross'], 6'2 Paul VI

Spross is primed for a big 2026 with his ability to make plays with the ball in his hands. The 6'2 guard has a tight handle and rarely gets sped up by on-ball pressure. Spross threads passes to his open teammates in the half court and is a crafty finisher around the rim. He is an underrated defender and pushes the pace well in transition. Spross is a talented guard prospect whose ability to efficiently run the offense will help his game throughout the winter months.

[player_tooltip player_id='1595682' first='Jayden' last='Holman'], 6'1 Linden

Holman has the ability to play on and off the ball, which is something that he will put on display this season. The 6'1 guard uses his handle to get into the lane and can finish through contact. Holman has a nice touch in the mid-range and moves well without the ball in his hands. He is an underrated rebounder and uses his length to make an impact on the defensive end. Holman has been a steady presence in the Tigers' backcourt as he's looking to lead them to their first sectional title since 2023.

[player_tooltip player_id='1595681' first='Jaren' last='Barnett'], 5'8 Linden

Holman isn't the only Linden guard on the list as Barnett is a guard to watch this season. The 5'8 guard plays with composure on the ball as he rarely makes bad decisions with the ball in his hands and is unafraid of taking big shots late in the game. Barnett knows how to finish around the rim and is able to hit open jumpers on the perimeter. He makes it tough for his man to get to his spot on the floor and can play off the ball in a pinch. Barnett is a true point guard prospect who should run the offense smoothly for Linden this season.

Other Prospects to Track:

[player_tooltip player_id='1788774' first='Mickell' last='Taylor Jr']., 6'0 Teaneck

[player_tooltip player_id='1595764' first='Elijah' last='Williams'], 6'1 Hudson Catholic

[player_tooltip player_id='2342637' first='Brad' last='Brown'], 6'0 Don Bosco Prep

[player_tooltip player_id='1919210' first='Mikah' last='Hart'], 6'0 Camden

[player_tooltip player_id='2304509' first='Seamus' last='Bieg'], 5'10 Camden Catholic
