Metro Indy Fall League Week 3 – Top Performers, Part Two

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Hoops Indiana was back in the gym on Sunday afternoon and evening at the Noblesville Boys and Girls Club covering Week Three action from the Metro Indy Fall League. This is an annual must attend event each Sunday in October as many of the best prospects from across the state, but especially the greater Indianapolis area, gather to prepare for the upcoming high school season. The 6'9"-6'10" center finished multiple putbacks in a short span showcasing his footwork and soft hands for his size. After getting his feet wet at the varsity level as a freshman, this 6'4" skilled forward should be ready for a breakout sophomore season. He looked excellent as a pick-and-pop threat on Sunday consistently knocking down shots from the perimeter. The athletic 6'3" guard gets to his spots so well on the offensive end and is explosive enough to rise up and finish at the rim or elevate for mid-range jump shots. His scoring ability and offensive aggressiveness is fun to watch. Vernon (Fortville) High School's second-leading scorer from last season. The 6'0" guard put up 9.2 points per game and shot 51-128 (39.8%) from three-point range. That shot-making ability was on display on Sunday as he got hot in a couple of stretches making some deep, tough three-point shots. Look for him to have a big senior season. He was a dominant force on the glass on Sunday evening at the Metro Indy Fall League. Vandegriff has good footwork, plays through contact well, and is starting to be a real threat as a scorer on the block.
