What Minnesota 2027 prospects are the highest level of stock risers in the state? We give you that list today!

[player_tooltip player_id='2420169' first='Ahmed' last='Nur'] of Hopkins/[program_tooltip program_id='2075431' first='D1' last='Minnesota']. Nur was already a rare player to begin with as an agile, long 6'9/6'10 frontcourt player with range to the arc and skills to play away from the cup, plus the agility and length to defend teams want at the high level. But two new factors have come in when it comes to Nur as a prospect and that was his outstanding performance at the recent Adidas fall camp, and the fact that the 2027 class nation wide is short size. 247 Sports has Nur as a top 40 prospect in the nation and we just saw Mustafa Mohamed (now living in Texas) get an offer from Mississippi State. Players like Nur and Mustafa were already rare, and in this class Ahmed looks like he will be an even higher level commodity.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126458' first='Luke' last='Schroeder'] of Shakopee/Hoop Habits. Luke's name has filled these pages the last several months but a quick reminder, Schroeder has played at a high level at camps, for his Shakopee high school team, for Hoop Habits, with whomever he joins up with in three on three, at the showcase, etc etc etc. His ability to knock down jumpers is at a very high and even rare level and Luke has the confidence to go with it. He's become a top ten level player and prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126113' first='AJ' last='Taban'] of Stillwater/[program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley']. We've seen maturity from AJ, we've seen him dominate around the basket and be that pick and pop four man, and he's become a bit taller, stronger but leaner, and more agile. Throw in the results he had from an excellent sophomore season and we think AJ is on an upward progression as both a player and prospect. He's like our high school version of what Randy Carter was for the Gophers back in the day.

[player_tooltip player_id='2436914' first='Kellen' last='Troup'] of Minnehaha Academy/[program_tooltip program_id='2455790' first='Howard' last='Pulley']. What makes a prospect these days in the frontcourt? Agility? Troup has it. Length/Height? Troup has it. Growing inside/out skills? Troup is improving. Lateral mobility to move around the court defensively? We've seen it from him. Results on the floor? Kellen has become more consistent. The opportunity is right there for Kellen to make another jump.

[player_tooltip player_id='2877054' first='Asher' last='Wieberdink'] of Central Minnesota Christian/Southwest Minnesota Stars. At 6'7, skilled, tough and agile Asher looked excellent at the recent Expo. Asher has always been productive, he's has numerous double-doubles for his high school as an underclassmen. But he fit right in with the best prospects of his grade at the Expo where Asher had some excellent game to game numbers. Face up player that can also get it done in the paint. A definite division two prospect.
