Peters was named a top performer at "The Expo" on Saturday. Here is our write-up from that recent article.

This explosive point guard was making a living in transition and consistently got paint touches in the half court that led to layups and assists. Peters has such a quick first step and a variety of combo moves that he can use to win one-on-one matchups on the perimeter. Crown Point High School is loaded this season, especially in the backcourt, but Peters will be a major part of the equation once again for what could be the preseason Class 4A State Title favorites.

We've seen Smiley throughout the years at all of our Prep Hoops events and he does continue to improve from year-to-year. The 6'3" wing checks some boxes with his length and overall physical tools which allow him to be switchable defensively. On the offensive end he is able to run the floor in transition, drive in a straight line, and keep the ball moving when it comes to him. The junior at Avon High School continues to improve.

A strong, athletic guard from West Washington High School, Russell is an under-the-radar name that deserves recognition out of southern Indiana. His ability to fill in at either guard spot gives him some versatility between playmaking and set-making. Russell looked good on Saturday at "The Expo" in all offensive settings consistently getting to the paint, making the right reads, and knocking down shots when the opportunities came.

North Central High School had a tough offseason between graduation and out-going transfers. They will be looking for players to step up this coming season, especially in the backcourt, and it looks like Davis could be among that group. The 5'11" junior guard handles the ball very well and initiates offense without turning the ball over. He is the type of floor general that you can comfortably turn the keys over too without fear of him wrecking the offense.

Kenny's blend of athleticism and physicality makes him really hard to handle inside of the arc. He can drive it left in a straight line from the high post, elbows, and short corners, but really excels as a rim-runner and offensive rebounder. The Beech Grove High School junior, who transferred from Lawrence North, should step into a large role in the Hornets front court and be a difference-maker this season. He is a consistent matchup problem and that was on display at "The Expo."

Jones was named a top performer at "The Expo" on Saturday. Here is our write-up from that recent article.

Jones has transferred from Lawrence North to Warren Central High School for his junior season. He had a very productive summer for Progeny 16u on the UA Rise Circuit and that carried over into Saturday's Showcase. The 6'5″ hybrid wing/forward is such a versatile weapon on both ends of the floor. He is a talented straight line driver and can really shine in transition. Defensively, Jones can guard just about every position on the floor and is effective as a rebounder. He should be among the better players at Warren Central this season.

McQuigg was named a top performer at "The Expo" on Saturday. Here is our write-up from that recent article.

If you like athletic forwards who will help in the rebounding efforts and play extremely hard at all times then you will like McQuigg. The 6'5″ forward shined at “The Expo” doing a lot of the things that he does best. He can drive it right against other front court players using his size and athleticism. Then, defensively, he versatile enough to check multiple positions before chasing down rebounds. Small college coaches should continue to recruit McQuigg heading into his senior season at Floyd Central High School.

Muntel was named a top performer at "The Expo" on Saturday. Here is our write-up from that recent article.

Muntel was able to get his feet wet at the varsity level as a sophomore, but now is ready to step into a much larger role in Westfield High School's front court. The 6'6″ forward is very athletic and moves fluidly for his size. He is good on the rim run, can score it on the roll, and has real upside as a rebounder on both ends of the floor. Muntel really shined at “The Expo” and definitely looks ready to make a leap as a junior.

Harvey was named a top performer at "The Expo" on Saturday. Here is our write-up from that recent article.

Small college programs have been all over this 6'8″ center from Ben Davis High School for several months now. Harvey is long, bouncy, and will immediately provide defense and rebounding on the interior. He is capable of playing above the rim at both ends of the floor and that was consistently apparent at “The Expo” as he was one of the best among a very talented group of big men in attendance. He should have a solid senior year for Ben Davis.
