If you like athletic forwards who will help in the rebounding efforts and play extremely hard at all times then you will like McQuigg. The 6’5″ forward shined at “The Expo” doing a lot of the things that he does best. He can drive it right against other front court players using his size and athleticism. Then, defensively, he versatile enough to check multiple positions before chasing down rebounds. Small college coaches should continue to recruit McQuigg heading into his senior season at Floyd Central High School.

High motor versatile wing that had a great showing at the UIndy Elite Camp. He impacted the games on both ends with his energy and effort. High level rebounder that read the ball off the rim really well. Good shooter with a smooth stroke. Defensively he guarded multiple positions and was a good communicator on that end of the floor.

. The 6’5″ forward displayed impressive athleticism at his size. He consistently crashed the offensive glass with success, attacked closeouts from the perimeter, and finished well up around the rim. McQuigg is a really fluid athlete at 6’5″ and showcased some impressive interior scoring ability on Sunday for 502 Elite. His positional quickness allows him to face-up and drive it at other 4/5 men with success. He loves to drive it left and then spin back right to finish. Then, against a mismatch, McQuigg displayed impressive patience in the post making his move and finishing strong over his left shoulder. An intriguing under-the-radar prospect to follow from Floyd Central High School.

We came away really impressed with McQuigg during a couple of times seeing him with his 502 Elite team on the Prep Hoops Circuit this summer. The Floyd Central High School product is a versatile 6’5″ wing with a good mixture of interior size and perimeter skill. Intriguing name to keep an eye on over the next two seasons.

McQuigg averaged 13.3 points per game on the weekend for 502 Elite 2026 which included a big 23-point per performance in what was a tightly contested matchup with 2 Face Elite 2026. The active, bouncy, 6’3″ forward is very effective around the basket and is a good rebounder on both ends of the floor. His constant motor really stands out and has caught our attention at multiple events this spring.

The lone Indiana prospect on a team filled with Kentucky talent, McQuigg looked comfortable playing in his home state this weekend. I was impressed with his scoring in the paint with nice footwork and post moves. Used pump fakes to get defenders off balance and his frame to power through smaller opposition. Late in the game, McQuigg had a crucial and-1 layup to give his team a chance at the end. Unfortunately took a tight loss on Sunday but McQuigg’s efforts were noticed for his team.
