LONG BEACH — The Pangos All-West Frosh/Soph Camp brought together 129 underclass players from nine different states to McBride high school for a two-day showcase event. There was a strong mix of guards, wings and bigs to keep a close eye on over the next 3-to-4 years. Below we detail the top wings we watched Saturday and in the Top 30 and Top 60 games.

[player_tooltip player_id='2374347' first='Aaron' last='McMorran II'] | 2028 | Desert Pines (NV)

McMorran has an intriguing combination of positional size, length and the ability to stretch the floor with off-catch three-point shots. At 6-feet-4 with a wiry frame, the Las Vegas-based sophomore has deep range on his perimeter jumper and has the ability to knock them down in spot-up and off-bounce situations. McMorran also showed the ability to attack closeouts to his left and finish straight-line drive opportunities. He finished with a game-high 16 points in the Top 30 game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2750252' first='Carter' last='Parker'] | 2028 | Vazquez

Parker can fill up the scoring column in a variety of ways and has shown a lot of improvements to his feel, shot selection and decision-making over the last year. The 6-foot-4 lefty is best described as an offensive player with a high level of confidence in his own abilities. Parker hit deep three-point shots off the catch and off the dribble, rebounded the defensive glass, pushed the break and got downhill to the rim for power or finesse finishes. Parker scored 12 points in the Top 30 game.

[player_tooltip player_id='2948298' first='Isaiah' last='Williamson'] | 2028 | Los Alamitos

We've seen Williamson play quite a bit over the last calendar year and he always seems to stand out with the basketball IQ, vision and unselfish playmaking he brings to the table. This weekend he showed that he could take over a game as a scorer when he needed to and that his three-point shot - especially off the catch - is starting to improve. The 6-foot-4 wing is a versatile offensive weapon with his mid-range and back to the basket scoring package standing out as one of his best traits. Williamson also has the handle and feel for the game to create offense for himself and teammates.

JoJo Mariles | 2029 | Damien

Mariles is one of SoCal's better incoming freshmen and he showed why he's earned that distinction. The 6-foot-3 shooting guard has one of the most effortless shooting strokes regardless of class and shoots a clean, easy ball with tight rotation and deep range off the catch or off the bounce. Mariles is a smart decision-maker when it comes to shot selection and when to attack a closeout where he can finish at the rim or make a simple drive and kick pass.

Kainoa Patton | 2028 | Corona Centennial

Patton is one of the most explosive athletes in Southern California regardless of class and the up-and-down, transition style of this event played into his strengths very well. The 6-foot-3 lefty is a pogo-stick vertical athlete whose ability to elevate quickly nullified any type of rim protection that tried to get in his way. Patton's defensive instincts and break speed also allowed him to play passing lanes for tips and steals.

Larry Jenkins | 2028 | Archbishop Stepinac (NY)

Jenkins is super intriguing as an upside prospect due to his combination of size, length and fluid athleticism. The east coast-based wing is a wiry 6-foot-9 perimeter oriented player with tons of skill to his game. Jenkins showed the ability to handle, drive and create for himself and teammates off the bounce. In addition to his at-rim finishing ability, Jenkins showed a smooth pull-up mid-range jumper.

[player_tooltip player_id='2450360' first='Noah' last='Grossman'] | 2028 | Bishop Gorman (NV)

Grossman was one of the better pure shooters we watched in this event. The combination of his 6-foot-4 frame, quick and repeatable shooting mechanics and high release point allow him to shoot over the top of most defenders who were closing out to him. The Las vegas-based sophomore used his smart off-ball movement to create angles and passing lanes for teammates to set him up with clean looks from deep.

[player_tooltip player_id='2364991' first='Miles' last='Cooper'] | 2028 | College Park

Cooper proved to be one of the better volume scoring guards on the weekend. The 6-foot shooting guard was not shy about pulling from multiple spots and multiple ranges of the floor and connected on most of those attempts throughout the regular game-play portion of the camp. Cooper was a confident creator in isolation and ball screen situations which led to his mid-range and three-point consistency.
