Stamps is a player who caught our attention as he impressed with his control and ability to make others better. He’s an unselfish guard with strong court vision, he makes quick reads and delivers passes in rhythm to shooter and on the break. What I like is that he’s comfortable scoring from mid-range as he can stop on the dime for a pull up, showing balance and touch. His poise and feel allow him to dictate tempo. As he continues to assert himself offensively and just get more games and time in, Stamps can emerge as a trusted lead guard in this class.
