Smikahl is making his presence felt this summer with the way he spaces the floor and consistently knocks down shots from deep. His shooting ability immediately stands out, as he plays with confidence and is always ready to fire when given space. Defenses have to stay attached to him because of how dangerous he is from three, and that gravity opens things up for everyone else on the floor. He moves well without the ball, understands positioning and creates clean looks by finding the right spots at the right time. Smikahl’s ability to stretch defenses and provide instant offense from the perimeter has made him a valuable weapon throughout summer ball and his shooting continues to draw plenty of attention moving forward
