Kellen is a long and agile big who excels as a lob threat and shot blocker. He's dangerous rolling to the hoop as he gets off the floor very quickly at 6'9+, meaning guards can just toss the ball near the rim and Kellen will get up and throw it down. Defensively he was constantly sliding into position to block/alter shots around the basket, and was comfortable moving his feet to defend screens out on the perimeter. Still a bit raw on the ball, but has the combination of length and athleticism that make him an intriguing prospect.

Logan continues to produce at a consistent level for [program_tooltip program_id='2075704' first='MN' last='Rise']. At 6'9-6'10 he has solid footwork on the block, the touch to finish with either hand, and he moves well enough to make plays as a shot blocker. In the two games I saw he sprinted back on defense to send swat a pair of shots off the backboard. Offensively although he didn't often have the time/space to go 1v1 on the block, he was active on the offensive glass, and was able to rack up put-back buckets throughout the weekend. Stepped out for a three in one of the games I saw.

Brayden helped his [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] team pull away in the second half against [program_tooltip program_id='2075704' first='MN' last='Rise'] on Saturday. Going up against a pair of college level post prospects, Brayden went to work with a number of quick post moves. He showed a high releasing hook shot that was tough to contest, and he was connecting on it at a high rate with his left hand. Brayden has excellent touch around the basket, making him tough to stop with just one defender down low. Someone who's just continued to get better over the past year, and now looks primed for a strong senior season.

It's easy to see why Drake is a D1 level football prospect. He has a strong and explosive 6'5 frame that other 16u players simply can't match, and those physical tools help him produce on the hardwood as well. Against [program_tooltip program_id='2075672' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] he impressed with some quick cuts out of the dunker spot, transition finishes, and high flying rebounds. Threw down a pair of dunks as he effortlessly exploded off two feet towards the basket. Drake showed he can defend nearly every spot on the floor, and is someone who just goes out and plays hard on every possession.

Parker is one of the strongest frontcourt prospects in Minnesota. When he was able to catch on the block, defenses were just about forced to either double team him or foul him. Parker does a great job of establishing deep post position before the ball even comes his way, and provides a big target making it easy for his guards to get him the ball. From there he was able to take one or two dribbles to get right under the basket, and then power up to finish.

The 2027 class is loaded with promising bigs, and Hunter is one of those names that college coaches will be keeping an eye on over the next two years. In a dominating win over Iowa Prep, Hunter showed his soft touch, perimeter shooting range, and post footwork that puts him up there with the best bigs in the state. When cutting to the basket or pulling in an offensive board, Hunter did a great job of keeping the ball high before going right up with it to finish. Drained a three from the top of the key with no hesitation, showing a nice looking stroke at 6'9.

[player_tooltip player_id='2376245' first='Yuot' last='Yuot'] was a worker inside for Bearstail 17u. A strong and physical 6'5 forward, Yuot was racking up rebounds on both ends of the floor throughout the weekend. Just competes to keep possessions alive for his team, and with a long wingspan, even when he wasn't able to secure the ball, Yuot was able to tip it out to his guards to keep possessions alive. Does all the little things that may not show up in the box score, like setting hard screens, sprinting rim to rim, and walling up to alter shots inside.
