June 20-22 I attended the annual Section-7 at the Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa and I attended the Cali Live tournament June 27-29 in at the Open Gym Premier Sports Complex in Ladera Ranch.CA.

Both events were live periods where college coaches sometimes were standing room only watching certain teams and players.

Here were some of the 2027 Standout PG's

[player_tooltip player_id='2146269' first='Daijon' last='Grayson'] Mesa

A fast and super quick point guard who can set the table, defend and score. He keeps improving as a scorer with more polished perimeter jumpers, quick drives to the basket and even dunks on the break. He is an underrated passer but his defense is stifling versus opposing guards.

[player_tooltip player_id='1950104' first='Jonathan' last='Mercado'] Chandler

A true gamer who simply just knows how to put the ball in the basket. The scoring point guard has a tight handle and sees the court well. He is very patient to get to his spots and will rise up from mid to the three point line. He hit two game winning shots for Chandler in both of their wins at Section-7.

[player_tooltip player_id='2559538' first='Notorious' last='Street'] San Tan Charter

A top-notch on-ball defender who will also facilitate and score. He can burst into the lane and then find a teammate in stride and will harass his opponents all game long. He will drive the lane and score some tough shots or shoot it from the three point line.

[player_tooltip player_id='1555181' first='Adrian' last='Higuera'] Millennium

A point guard who has been in so many big games over the years keeps polishing up his jumpers. His threes are getting better off the catch and he still has his go-to mid-range shot off the dribble. He can create the space with his tighter handle and go to work.

[player_tooltip player_id='1986796' first='Peyton' last='Lubash'] San Tan Charter (Pictured)

One of the top scoring point guards in the junior class locally. He scores with threes from the parking lot and directs the traffic. He always seems to find a teammate perfectly in stride. He seems to throw the lob pass perfectly every time. He has unlimited range combined with a quick trigger and can pull-up off the dribble from mid.

[player_tooltip player_id='1555180' first='Delton' last='Prescott III'] Sunnyslope

Another lead guard who has played versus most of the top West Coast teams just gets the job done. He is extremely quick and fast with the ball and will thread the needle to his teammates but will also score with sharp mid-range pull-ups off the dribble stopping on a dime and threes off the catch. He picked up an offer from Seattle U.

[player_tooltip player_id='2146267' first='Micah' last='Andrews'] Deer Valley

One of the top on-ball defensive minded point guards with athleticism, quick hands and feet in the junior class. He is a true ball hawk making his opponents lives miserable picking their pockets. He can also score with threes, tough mid-range jumpers and fast takes to the rim using his bounce and body control.
