-Clark's improvements to his shooting from beyond the arc have added a new dimension to his game as he is now making teams pay for going under ball screens with made shots off of movement. This improved shooting also allows him to play off the ball as a shooter that can also attack side ball screens when the ball is reversed to him from the opposite side, taking advantage of his creation abilities. Like the strides that he is taking defensively to use a very quick set of hands to collect steals both on or off the ball. Want to see him reject ball screens or come off flat if he doesn't have enough space to come off as he can sometimes get into turnover troubles when he tries to squeeze through tight gaps in the defense that aren't always there. Clark still looks to be in store for a larger role in an SJC backcourt that needs his leadership and play-making to be successful in the WCAC.

-Edwards proved that it's not how you start but how you finish, bouncing back well to lead G Prep to a nice win over SJC with several key plays down the stretch. Thought he adjusted well in the 2H to become more aggressive getting downhill and getting two feet in the paint to shift the defense. He did a great job of face-guarding SJC point guards and shooters to make it difficult to get an initial catch and effectively take them out of the game for stretches of time. Had a huge chasedown block that showed off some nice vertical pop midway through the 2H and had a steal, assist, and FTs down the stretch to ice the game for the Hoyas. With much of their backcourt moving on to the collegiate level, there is plenty of opportunity for an expanded role if he can provide a steadying presence for his team at the point guard position.

-First time seeing Moore with his HS team and there was a lot to like from the prospect as a shifty scoring PG that understands when he needs to call his own number to get a bucket for his team. Moore has the ball on the string and can get downhill in a hurry on opponents if they sell out too hard trying to shade him in either direction. Moore showed the complete offensive package as a guard that can hit perimeter shots, can play-make for others in the paint, out-rebound other guards, and provide some moxie at the defensive end of the floor as a POA defender. The key to his success will be consistency, not allowing a mistake or missed shot to throw him off his game and take his head out of the next several defensive possessions. I expect him to make that adjustment as he matures over the years as a PG to watch in the MIAA.

-Argueta's quick twitch athleticism and aggressive play really stood out at both ends of the floor as he was a menace defensively for the Cadets. Love what he gives his team coming off the bench as an aggressive smaller guard that turns his matchup over, puts pressure on the rim, and really pushes the pace in transition. Argueta's speed and burst has always been mere minutes into watching him play but the vertical pop really was accentuated by a chasedown block where he high-pointed a block with a 1-handed spike to preserve a narrow lead for his team late in this one.

-Camps really controls the flow of the game and sets the pace well for a WC team that needs his play-making to be successful. Camps uses a tight handle to constantly probe the defense with Nash drives along the baseline to force help defenders to turn their head just enough to pass a teammate open for a clean look. Liked his tenacity to go right at his man even if he had missed a shot or turned the ball over on the previous possession, showing a mental toughness to move onto the next play and always give his team a chance to score in the halfcourt. Expect him to be one of the more consistent PGs in Montgomery County this season.

-Really liked Walker's minutes off the bench as an aggressive scoring PG that got to it early scoring the basketball and providing some POA defense for the Cadets. Walker does a great job of shading his man defensively towards the sideline, navigating screens in the halfcourt, and chesting up to force tough shots without fouling. Thought that he saw the floor well, keeping his handle alive while waiting for the defense to clear out or get distracted by off-ball screens before driving to space and creating shots for himself or others from vulnerable points in the defense.
