The 2027 wing was a bright spot for Western Reserve academy in a game where there two leading scorers were in foul trouble throughout essentially the entire game. He’s a knockdown shooter who doesnt lack heart in any aspect of the game.

Fox impressed as a floor space converting early and often. He shoots a clean ball and if you give him any space he will more than likely convert. He has an active motor and contributes to the game in different facets. Hoping that he can improve his foot speed and work on getting stronger. He should be a priority for low major and mid majors programs across the country in need of a big who can space the floor.

Another player who had some easy buckets, Fox had an and-1 putback, a transition alley-oop and a couple other buckets where he crashed the offensive glass. Able to space the floor as a shooter with size, Fox allows room for Western Reserve’s guards to attack downhill and score without help defense rotating off of him. Still a prospect who has room to grow, I’m excited to see Fox against some tougher competition later this season as Western Reserve Academy rolled to a blowout victory tonight.

It’s still early for 2027 prospects to be recruited as many schools are focusing on 2026 prospects but Fox seems like one of the more underrecruited kids in the state of Ohio. With his skillset at his size I’d expect a lot more schools to have offered him and I think it’s only a matter of time before he starts racking up offers left and right. Fox has a sweet lefty shooting stroke and has the length to be a help-side rim protector. If Fox can consistently score in the paint and play tough, he’ll be an impactful player for this Western Reserve Academy squad.

Another prospect I got to see for the first time at EYBL in Memphis, Fox was making plays for City Rocks 16 U at both ends of the court. A versatile forward who can play the 3 or the 4, Fox is a sharp shooting lefty who made a handful of shots in a win over All Ohio Red 16 U to close the weekend. I was also impressed by how Fox moved for his size, with a frame that can add a strength without limiting his mobility. A high upside prospect to know who will be coming to Ohio to play for Western Reserve Academy this fall.
