Our 2028 rankings were released last week with 24 players finding their name on the debut list. In this article we'll break down the two wings who were added to the rankings as this is typically a position where players take longer to develop their skills and break out later in their high school careers.

One of the most productive freshmen in the state, Joiner had an excellent season for regional champion Summit Country Day where he averaged a team high 15 points and 8.6 rebounds a contest. Joiner also shot 53% from the floor and 32% from 3-point range. I was really impressed with Joiner when I saw him in the summer as a rising freshman and he improved as a perimeter shooter and as a ball handler over the past few months. I expect Joiner to be recruited at the high major level and he should be one of the top 15 U players on the 3SSB circuit with Indiana Elite.

I just saw Jones this weekend with Nova Village as they went 4-0 on the Prep Hoops Circuit as a tune-up before their Under Armour circuit starts this upcoming weekend. A high-flying athlete, Jones threw down some impressive alley-oop slam dunks in transition. I also like Jones quick burst attacking off the dribble as he's tough to stop when he turns the corner. Still with a lot of room to grow, I expect Jones to improve as a 3-point shooter and ball handler, which would make him even tougher to stop. One of the top players in the 2028 class across the state, you'll be hearing a lot more about Jones he continues to develop and mature.
