With that in mind, here are nine prospects from throughout New England, that have recently announced their plans for the next level.

Fiin, a guard out of the Boston Latin School, announced that he will continue his playing career at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. A long and lean wing that averaged over 15 points per game this winter, Fiin impacts the game in a variety of ways on the offensive end of the floor. He has great length and a quick first step, both of which help him to excel as a downhill driver. When he gets to the rim, he does a good job of finishing over size and has also showed the ability to make short jumpers with soft touch. He's a versatile defender that's disruptive in passing lanes and shows the ability to quickly turn defense into offense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2547112' first='Ryan' last='Elliott']

Elliott, a wing from Merrimack, finalized his recruitment with a pledge to New England College. A fundamentally sound prospect on the offensive end of the floor, he's capable of scoring from behind the arc or at the rim. He sets solid screens and has versatility with his ability to rim roll or pop as a shooter. He uses shot fakes and plays at different speeds to keep defenders off balance and has a nose for the ball on the offensive glass. Defensively, he can really rebound in traffic and does a good job of using his voice on the back line of defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2547052' first='Manny' last='Hidalgo']

He's a dynamic ball-handler that thrives in isolation situations, as well as in ball screens. He can really turn the corner to get downhill and while he's a solid athlete, his ability to finish in creative ways over size really stands out. He'll make good decisions as a passer, makes high level reads in transition, and, defensively, can sit in a stance and guard the full length of the floor.

A shot creator with the ball in his hands, he's really good at getting to his spots off the bounce and elevating into his jumper in the mid-range. He handles the ball in transition, putting a ton of pressure on the defense, and shows the ability to find cutters heading to the rim or to stop and knock down threes. Defensively, he impresses with his ability to move his feet laterally, allowing him to stay in front of opposing ball handlers while making it hard for them to get into the paint. He also does a nice job of rebounding down from the guard spot.

[player_tooltip player_id='1677089' first='Abdou' last='Yadd']

Yad, a big man at Putnam Science Academy, wrapped up his recruitment with a pledge to Sacred Heart University. At 6'10" with a college ready frame, he's a big and physical and explosive interior presence. He runs the floor really hard, is a threat to score off of lobs, and has a great feel as a finisher when rolling out of ball screens. He can make plays from the top of the key, playing in DHO actions or even knocking down standstill jumpers from the perimeter. Defensively, he's a bruising big that can block shots above the rim and is a force as a rebounder in traffic. With his frame, motor, and skill level, he's a high level prospect that's only going to get better at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='2811987' first='Nate' last='McNeff']

McNeff, a guard at Exeter, announced that he will continue his academic and athetic careers at Norwich University. A physical, tough lead guard, he makes a ton of plays with the ball in his hands. He plays lower to the ground than his opponents, helping him to turn the corner or get by the initial defender. He finishes through contact at the rim, but also has the ability to finish with euro-steps and floaters. He can knock down shots in the mid-range, creates for others off the bounce, and pushes the tempo in transition. Defensively, he's gritty and does a great job as an on-ball defender at the point of attack.

[player_tooltip player_id='2547129' first='Trey' last='Eldred']

A strong forward with a big frame, he's able to make plays in the paint with his feel around the rim, solid footwork, and toughness. He's stretch his shooting out to the perimeter and now makes catch and shoot threes. He runs the floor well and shows that he knows how to establish deep post position in transition. Defensively, he moves his feet when switched onto the perimeter, rebounds with physicality in traffic, and doesn't give up space in the post.

[player_tooltip player_id='2547116' first='Sammy' last='DeWitt']

DeWitt, a guard from Alvirne, pledge his commitment to Southern Maine Community College. A 1,000 point scorer in high school, he was a big time shot maker this winter. He moves well without the basketball, cutting hard to the rim or running off screens to get open. He does his work early to get shot ready, can make shots consistently from beyond the arc, and leverages his shooting to open up driving lanes. He makes good decisions with the ball, rarely turns it over, and can make plays off the bounce in the paint. He competes defensively and has quick hands that allow him to create steals and deflections.

[player_tooltip player_id='2325743' first='Max' last='Pearis']

Pearis, a forward out of Tabor Academy, announced that he will attend Franklin & Marshall College. A versatile, two-way presence that can really impact a game around the rim, he uses his length to his advantage as a defender and scorer. He has good positional size, runs the floor really well, and has great timing and instincts as a shot blocker. Defensively, he can guard multiple positions and moves well laterally for someone of his size. He plays with a high motor on the offensive end of the floor and is at his best when he can get around the rim and finish with either hand.
