His ability to play above the rim separated him from most guards in attendance. He consistently finished lobs, converted in transition, and elevated over traffic in the half court while remaining under control. He generated excellent lift on his mid-range pull-up, rising comfortably into his jumper and knocking down shots from that area. On the defensive end, he consistently pressured the ball, challenged shots, and used his athleticism to cover ground. His ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor made him one of the more intriguing combo guards at Section 7.

Patton has an argument as the best pure athlete in the 2028 class and would likely be among the top five athletes in SoCal regardless of class. The Corona Centennial product is a pogo-stick vertical athlete off of one or two feet and he uses that ability to elevate to nullify rim protectors and finish at the rim. Patton is best in transition and open court settings where he can initiate offense on the break or fill lanes and slash his way to the rim for high percentage finishes. His athletic ability and physical tools should show up in a big way on the defensive end this season.

A fast and energetic guard with movement on the court, with or without the ball. He’ll slash and cut to finish around the rim. A quality ball handler, with a body for strong drives into the paint. He has good lift in the paint, and around the basket, attacking blockers, getting rebounds from the guard position, or pulling up for paint jumpers. The lefty hit a 3-pointer in the corner. He has good foot speed, and energy defending. 20pts in the game we saw.
