The two-way wing who impacts the game on both ends. Defensively, he applies heavy on-ball pressure and has great anticipation in passing lanes, and he turns steals into transition baskets in a hurry. Offensively, he creates his own shot off the dribble and is comfortable rising into mid-range pull-ups, and he attacks the rim with strength, finishing through contact. He rebounds well from the wing and pushes the pace himself.

When we first ranked Brown at No. 35 he was getting his first taste of varsity level basketball after spending his freshman year on Centennial’s JV team. Fast-forward a year later and the 6-foot-7 wing is, in our estimation, one of the highest upside prospects on the entire west coast. Brown’s improvements happened quickly and in all the right areas of the game to make him a Division 1-caliber recruit, starting with his catch-and-shoot ability out to the three-point line, consistency as a mid-range shooter and confidence as a downhill attacker and finisher.
