The Highland Shootout took place over the weekend in an event that featured high profile talent from all over the country. In this story we break down prospects from Missouri in Highland Shootout: 2025 Missouri Top Performers!

[player_tooltip player_id='1419873' first='Luke' last='Walsh'] (Vianney)

Walsh is a straight bucket getter! The Vianney shooting guard came out on fire scoring 13 points in the first four minutes of their game against Lemont. He is a plus three point shooter that pours them in at a high clip. Creative with the ball in his hands getting to his spots to pull up for 15-18 foot pull ups along with getting all the way to the rack for layups. Despite the scoring barrage he showed solid secondary playmaking feel as well as he went for 37 points (7-10 3PT), 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. The SIU commit will provide offense for the MVC program!

[player_tooltip player_id='1419857' first='Aaron' last='Rowe'] (Father Tolton)

First time seeing the Mizzou commit in a while and wow was he impressive. The slick handling guard had the ball on a string all game against John Burroughs. He was pouring in mid-range jumpers over and over. Loved the handles and his ability to get wherever he wanted on the floor. Body control and finishing at the rim. High level passer as well that made sound decisions with the ball on the move off live dribbles going for 18 points (8-16 FG), 9 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='1422771' first='Exavier' last='Wilson'] (Father Tolton)

Wilson a highly coveted uncommitted guard out of the state of Missouri. He is a smooth lead guard with creative handles being able to get in the paint for acrobatic finishes, scoop shots, and runners. Also can really pour them in from mid-range. Liked his activity on the defensive end along with being a solid passer. He went for 18 points (8-21 FG), 7 rebounds, 3 dimes, and 4 steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552480' first='Trey' last='Williams'] (Vashon)

Williams is one of Missouri's top senior guards and headed to Missouri State next season. He is known for his long distance shooting and despite struggling through most of the game when he needed to hit them the combo guard came up big draining a pair of clutch threes down the stretch. Good rebounding game out of the guard. He had 11 points (4-12 FG) and 6 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='1557386' first='Dehrio' last='McCaskill'] (Vashon)

McCaskill is making a name for himself as a senior with his high flying dunks. The SIU-Edwardsville commit threw down some nasty dunks in this game including some explosive takes for jams off the bounce. He had 13 points and 2 dimes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1422817' first='Terron' last='Garrett'] (Vashon)

Garrett is an interesting prospect as he has all the physical tools to play at the mid-major level. Transferred over from CBC for his senior campaign. Consistency from game in to game out is the key for Garrett to take that next step. Thought he played well against Quincy as the broad shouldered and athletic wing is a game changer in transition when he gets those shoulders squared toward the rim. Mixed in a turnaround jumper and a three. Would like to see him get a little more air under the shot at times, but he has good mechanics. Plus athlete who can impact on the defensive end. Went for 11 points (5-9 FG) in the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='1557398' first='Carl' last='Whitehead Jr'] (Webster Groves)

Whitehead is a nice third option for the Webster Groves attack. The well built wing slashes it with explosion and hit a three for a top of the key three. Like how he moved the ball as a connector on the perimeter as well going for 5 points and 4 assists. Good small college guy.

[player_tooltip player_id='1425357' first='Blake' last='Pingeton'] (Father Tolton)

Shooters with size are always valued. That is what Pigeton brings to the table as he is a shooter with a quick release from distance hitting both that he took en route to 14 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2427990' first='Owen' last='Walther'] (John Burroughs)

Walther is another sharp shooter to track in the senior class. He was 5-14 from the field and three as all of his shots came from distance. Best off the catch as a spot up threat who had 15 points along with 4 dimes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2544909' first='Max' last='Steinbach'] (John Burroughs)

Steinbach is a smaller guard that brought a ton of grit to his team. Liked the quickness, sweeping layups, and great passing instincts out of this small college sleeper who had 4 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 dimes.
