The junior prospect has grown from 6'3 to 6'6 over the past year and the skillbase as a point guard in his developing years is serving him well. Liked that even during his hot-shooting stretches he made the extra pass, helping his team go from good shot to great shot with the understanding that the ball would find its way back to him throughout the course of the possession. Manhertz was huge down the stretch in his team's lone win over Millbrook, scoring 10 straight points down the stretch off of 3s and FTs to seal the win for his team.

-Sophomore W/F tweener enjoyed a productive weekend, averaging 9p 4r 3a 1s over 3 games while showing athleticism and ball skills that give him some upside as a prospect. Moore's weekend was highlighted by a 14p 4a 2r 1s performance in his team's only win of the weekend against Farmville Central. Moore gave his team some rotational flexibility as a wing that can guard up a position or two but also do well defensively on the perimeter as a rangy defender with the footspeed to stay with his matchup but the discipline to stay home to force dribble pick-ups and turnovers without fouling.

- Walters impressed throughout the weekend as a bouncy wing prospect that can guard 2-4 at the HS level while doing a solid job on the other two positions. The junior finished with a productive 14p 5r 3b stat line vs Sidwell, protecting the rim from the helper's spot while knocking down open perimeter looks and finishing his chances above the rim. Walters also finished with 15p on 71% shooting vs John Marshall, displaying the athleticism to show that he belonged on the court against the nationally-ranked VA team filled with Division 1 talent. If he can take advantage of his change of speeds and raw athleticism to move to space more often as an off-ball cutter, I wouldn't be surprised to see his recruitment pick up.

13.5p, 5r, 1a per game

-A low post scorer in the mold of Sean May, DuBose used his size and strength to score at an efficient clip around the basket while extending possessions for his team with some big rebounds at key moments. DuBose made plays out of the short corner as a physical W/F tweener that can score in tight spaces off of last-second dump off passes from his teammates around the rim. I liked how decisive and efficient he was with his dribble around the basket, using a dribble or two to create space to finish but often scoring without putting the ball on the floor. Liked his scoring touch both from the free throw line and from the midrange--shooting 61% from the floor as a freshman shows the poise and steady hand that teams look for down the stretch of games.

27p 12r 2a 2b 1s 9/13 FG 2/3 3P 7/8 FT vs Farmville

-Impactful weekend for the top-10 junior forward in the absence of his team's starting point guard, filling a role as a scorer that can excel from both the high and low post. Stevens showed great shooting touch throughout the day from all three levels while serving as a viable roll target with soft hands and a diverse bag of scoring moves around the rim. Stevens showed the ability to score over either shoulder, passed well out of double teams, and hit the glass heavy on both ends of the floor. Believe he has a ton of long-term upside as a skilled forward that plays within himself but can fit into different systems and schemes at the next level because of his skillset.
