Davis has been a valuable piece inside for the Panthers, using his length to disrupt shots, get his hands in passing lanes, and work to get extra possessions on the glass. He has the potential to be a solid stretch-four with his ability to knock down shots away from the rim and has even shown he can sink some tightly contested jumpers with his length.

Holcomb is a highly skilled "big" who can play all over the floor. While he does a great job getting shots off from just about any spot on the floor, he's also been a valuable presence by the rim, deterring shots, rebounding, and then looking up the floor quickly to find runners. He's had several great outlets to leakouts and is having a diverse impact on the game so far.

Reger has been pretty solid to start the year, adding a nice interior piece for the Gators. He's done well focusing on playing big, starting with a solid game of 11 points and seven rebounds against Rainier Beach. But Reger's also done well working to stay with guards on the perimeter when switched out and has shown a really good motor overall. He's cashed in on shots by the rim and done just what the team has needed early on in the year.

Ervin has been one of the premier rim defenders so far this year and was blocking just about everything coming his way in their last game against West Seattle. He's been able to take advantage of some height advantages early on in the year, working the glass for put-backs and showing he can cover ground inside, fight through multiple defenders, and finish with some touch. But he's also done a nice job of locating teammates behind the defense when he operates from the top of the paint.

Mills has been a rock for West Valley so far and a lot of it has to do with his skill with the ball, but also his ability to play patiently and at his speed. He does a great job from the post and when he does get a 1v1 down there, he has the strength to eat up space and get to his spots. He does a great job utilizing pump fakes, getting to good angles, and has a soft touch that plays all the way out to 3-point range. Mills also does a really nice job working with his guards along the perimeter with DHOs and PNRs, using that big frame to free up his ballhandlers and pin defenders on his backside.

Cohen looks primed for a true breakout campaign in his junior year. He's shown a lot flashes of some elite skills as a stretch big, but this year he has come out of the gates looking to dominate. He's sitting at 17.3 points and 10.5 rebounds per game while adding in 1.5 steals and 1.8 blocks. And while he has looked stronger and more confident in just about every facet of the game, the biggest improvement seems to have come from behind the 3-point line. He already shot 48% behind the arc last season, but that came on just 52 attempts. This season he has already taken 21 attempts through four games and has two games with four 3PM, a mark he failed to hit at all last season. But more importantly than the early season numbers, his shot has more fluidity and you can tell he feels good about it, knocking in several shots from deep against Eastlake with defenders right up on him.

Roosevelt had a tough loss to O'Dea earlier this week in what was a competitive, physical game. Sommers showed he's ready to play those type of games and be that anchor inside for Roosevelt in his first season in the Metro League. He did a great job competing on the glass, was aggressive with the ball in transition, taking advantage of lanes to the hoop, and was a force defensively with some nice blocks by the rim. He showcases some impressive perimeter skills for a kid his size, but really stood out for his ability to battle inside and keep coming with that fight each time down the floor.
