About Elijah
Expert Analysis
Ryan Morgan | Prep Hoops Scout
Davis is a stretch forward with a pretty outside shot who’s also demonstrated some solid footwork around the paint. He had a bit of a breakout season last year for Bonney Lake and should continue to build on that this winter. He’s a kid who can bring down boards on both ends and attack mismatches offensively both inside and away from the hoop.

Davis has been a valuable piece inside for the Panthers, using his length to disrupt shots, get his hands in passing lanes, and work to get extra possessions on the glass. He has the potential to be a solid stretch-four with his ability to knock down shots away from the rim and has even shown he can sink some tightly contested jumpers with his length.

He’s a strong forward who rebounded really well on both ends. Strong enough where if he gets good position it’s tough for defenders to move him off his spot. Also showed a good-looking jumper that could really develop into a strength of his game down the line. Even stepped out to knock down a few threes.

Eli is a strong, strong wing who uses his frame well in many ways. He gets to the bucket well uses his frame and even more importantly, gets involved in rebounds often. His jumper has improved and gotten much smoother, hitting deep shots consistently. His basketball IQ is high as he can easily decide how to attack the opposing player/team.
