Meadowcreek controlled the first three quarters and had a 41-27 lead going into the final quarter. Javon Armstrong (6'3/F/'25/Meadowcreek) and Fred Williams (6'2/SF/'25/Meadowcreek) paced Meadowcreek early as they both showed their ability to score from all levels. Jaxson Dragg (6'2/CG/'27/Heritage) had only 3 points heading into the final quarter but caught fire and led the comeback charge with his aggressiveness and scoring ability from all levels. He finished with 15pts despite the comeback attempt falling short and Meadowcreek escaping with a 56-50 win. Javon Armstrong, who made a two-way impact, finished with 13pts, and Fred Williams finished with 10pts.

Game 2:

The second game of the day featured Chattahoochee vs Campbell. Chattahoochee jumped out to an early lead behind the play of their athletic interior presence, [player_tooltip player_id='2471138' first='Kyler' last='Fox'] (6'8/'PF|C/'25/Chattahoochee), who made his presence felt on the inside on both ends of the floor. Campbell kept it close behind the play of Tyce Curtis (6'4/PG/'27/Campbell), who kept pressure on the rim with his play off the bounce. Campbell kept it close until [player_tooltip player_id='1810743' first='Sharif' last='Mosley'], Jr. (5'11/CG/'25/Campbell) found his perimeter stroke and made two big threes down the stretch to help Campbell send the game into OT. Sharif made sure the ball was in his hands in OT as he helped to seal the win 68-66. [player_tooltip player_id='2471138' first='Kyler' last='Fox'] finished with 24pts, while Tyce Curtis finished with 18pts and Sharif chipped in 15pts.

Game 3:

The third game of the day featured Decatur taking on Cambridge. Decatur had balanced scoring early, led by athletic [player_tooltip player_id='2308804' first='Jason' last='Welborn'] (6'3/SG/'26/Decatur HS), who showed his ability to score and distribute with his play off the bounce. After being down 26-16 at the half, Cambridge, behind the play of sharpshooter [player_tooltip player_id='1621371' first='Logan' last='Harris'] (6'0/SG/'25/Cambridge), cut into the lead and trailed 34-38 going into the final quarter. The game got a little chippy throughout the fourth, and both teams found themselves at the line often. Decatur was able to hold on to get the 61-52 win. [player_tooltip player_id='2308804' first='Jason' last='Welborn'] finished with 16pts, and [player_tooltip player_id='1621371' first='Logan' last='Harris'] finished with 27pts.

Game 5:

After the only girls' game on the schedule, the boys' action resumed, and Canarsie out of New York took on Chapel Hill. Both teams worked early to fill one another out, and Canarsie finally got a grip on the flow of the game and went into halftime with a 31-24 lead. PJ Singleton (6'6/Wing/'26/Canarsie) showed his ability to flat-out score from all levels in a variety of ways, including being able to make tough shots. Chapel Hill kept it close and had a 23-9 fourth quarter behind the dynamic scorer [player_tooltip player_id='2046355' first='CJ' last='Geathers'] (Wing/Chapel Hill HS), who showed his ability to knife through the defense and finish with his athleticism at the cup. [player_tooltip player_id='2046355' first='CJ' last='Geathers'] finished with 30pts, while PJ Singleton finished with 19pts.

Game 6:

Game six found McEachern taking on KELL. McEachern came out hot from behind the arc as they made five threes and jumped out to a 21-11 lead after the first quarter. It went downhill for KELL after that, as McEachern was just too talented and was getting contributions from everywhere. McEachern cruised to an 84-59 win. [player_tooltip player_id='2575570' first='Mason' last='McMillan'] (6'2/CG/'26/McEachern) was lethal from behind the arc as he finished with 20pts and 18pts coming from behind the arc. [player_tooltip player_id='2746184' first='Chase' last='Lumpkin'] (6'4/CG/'27/McEachern) shot the ball well from the perimeter and showed his ability to score and make high-end decisions in traffic. Chase finished with 18pts. [player_tooltip player_id='2275439' first='Zach' last='Graves'] (6'0/CG/'27/KELL) led KELL with 9pts as he showed his ability to be a solid floor general.

Game 7:

Game seven had Pace taking on Peachtree Ridge. There was talent up and down both rosters. This one was competitive and tight throughout the first half, and Pace went into the half with a 39-38 lead. [player_tooltip player_id='1762523' first='Chandler' last='Bing'] (6'6/SF/'25/Pace) was sensational early as he flashed his athleticism, aggressiveness off the bounce, and ability to finish in the paint and at the cup. [player_tooltip player_id='2245649' first='Gideon' last='Kamuelyu'] (6'5/F/'26/Peachtree Ridge), who was his team's main inside presence, proved to be a really good scorer around the rim and was highly active on the glass despite being what some would say undersized. Gideon's play helped to keep Peachtree Ridge in striking distance. However, the play of [player_tooltip player_id='1383030' first='Eric' last='Chatfield'], Jr. (5'11/PG/'25/Pace) and his mature floor game and ability to take care of the ball down the stretch helped to secure the win 81-71. [player_tooltip player_id='1762523' first='Chandler' last='Bing'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1383030' first='Eric' last='Chatfield'], Jr. both finished with 22pts. [player_tooltip player_id='2245649' first='Gideon' last='Kamuelyu'] finished with 21pts.

Game 8:

Game eight had Alexander taking on Holy Innocents. Despite being highly favored, Holy Innocents only led 31-29 at the break. [player_tooltip player_id='1383017' first='Caleb' last='Wilson'] (Holy Innocents) was the reason Holy Innocents was favored so highly, and he was worth the price of admission. His versatility and scoring ability, with his size and length, make him a match-up nightmare. Alexander put forth a valiant effort early behind the play of Gregory Dunson (6'1/PG/'26/Alexander), who had the responsibility of running the show and providing scoring as needed. Holy Innocents, despite only leading 53-46 heading into the fourth quarter, never really seemed to be threatened as they got the win 72-58. Caleb finished with 32pts while Gregory Dunson finished with 12pts.

Game 9:

The final game featured Grayson vs Wheeler. The underlying story of this game was the anticipation of the two high-impact transfers from Alabama for both teams. [player_tooltip player_id='1958488' first='Caleb' last='Holt'] (6'5/G/'26/Grayson) and

[player_tooltip player_id='1958491' first='Colben' last='Landrew'] (6'6/CG/'26/Wheeler HS) had fans from Birmingham driving over for the anticipated match-up. As expected with a heavy-weight bout, both teams came out looking for the knock-out punch, and the first quarter came to a 16-15 win with Grayson leading. In the second quarter, [player_tooltip player_id='1444779' first='Jacob' last='Wilkins'] (6'7/SF/'25/Grayson) for Grayson showed his freakish athleticism and his versatile scoring ability. He helped Grayson to get a grip on the game going into halftime as they led Wheeler 36-23. [player_tooltip player_id='1958491' first='Colben' last='Landrew'] was a bright spot early for Wheeler, as the newcomer was active offensively, making plays such as scoring and put-backs and creating opportunities for his teammates. [player_tooltip player_id='1958488' first='Caleb' last='Holt'], the talented lead guard for Grayson, impacted the game across the stat sheet and showed his continued growth with his PG IQ, while KJ Garris (6'5/Wing/'25/Grayson) showed his threat level from behind the arc, both, helping Grayson to maintain their lead going into the 4th quarter. [player_tooltip player_id='1383029' first='Tylis' last='Jordan'] (6'8/PF/'25/Wheeler) got more involved late and showed his versatility and ability to draw fouls around the rim, earning him trips to the line. Wheeler showed life, but Grayson was just too much and got the win 77-68. [player_tooltip player_id='1444779' first='Jacob' last='Wilkins'] led Grayson with 23pts, while KJ Garris added 20pts, and [player_tooltip player_id='1958488' first='Caleb' last='Holt'] chipped in 15pts. [player_tooltip player_id='1958491' first='Colben' last='Landrew'] led Wheeler with 13pts.
