The Pangos All-Midwest Frosh/Soph Camp is one of the best chances to see young talented prospects from the state. PHI had Steve Parham at the event in person all weekend and has been posting coverage. I wasn't able to make it in person, but went back to watch the first game of every single player in the event on Baller TV. That is what is represented in these evaluations. Here is Pangos: Scotty B's 2027 Wing Standouts!

SG [player_tooltip player_id='2334870' first='Scottie' last='Adkinson'] (Webster Groves, MO – 2027)

Adkinson is one of the top shooting guards in the country. He lit up the Nike EYBL with [program_tooltip program_id='2075324' first='Brad' last='Beal Elite'] and did more of the same at Pangos. The St. Louis 6'3” shooting guard is a lethal scorer that can get buckets from anywhere. His step back three was on point in the game that we saw. Lefty creates space and gets elevation on his shot. The explosiveness off the bounce was shown as well. Scored with explosiveness off the dribble getting to the rim with consistency converting acrobatic finishes on a regular basis. Plays above the rim in transition with dunks and throwing down lobs. Also had a big come from behind block defensively. No doubt high-major.

SF [player_tooltip player_id='2125658' first='Kendall' last='Meyers'] (Marist – 2027)

Meyers is a big bodied 6'6” combo forward that has established himself as a top 20 prospect with his play this fall. The skill is very impressive with his ability to handle and nimble footwork along with touch around the hoop. Spinning layups, creative takes off the bounce, and can also finish with his strength through just about anyone. Good mid-range jumper and has an excellent passing feel on the wing. Rebounds very well.

SF [player_tooltip player_id='2632037' first='Landon' last='Mays'] (Marian Catholic – 2027)

This 6'5” small forward really caught my attention. Thick bodied wing that got after it on the defensive end guarding on the perimeter. Physical finisher around the hoop powering his way in along with finishing in the pick/roll.

SF [player_tooltip player_id='2632017' first='Kaylen' last='Hardy'] (Peoria – 2027)

Hardy jumped off the floor in the game I saw him. He is a thick bodied 6'3” small forward that got off to a fast start with his shot making draining a stutter step three followed by another crisp jumper. Was a bit streaky the rest of the game, but the potential is definitely there as a shot maker. Physical finisher inside using his size to convert in the paint after getting there with decent handles and rebounds well from his wing spot.

SG [player_tooltip player_id='2632060' first='Landon' last='Carter'] (Peoria Manual – 2027)

Carter is a 6'3” shooting guard with a long and lanky frame. Finished around the hoop on a pick/roll. Shows a solid release on his shot and rebounds well for a guard.

SF [player_tooltip player_id='2632045' first='Aaron' last='Stauffacher'] (Lincoln Way East – 2027)

Liked the size on the wing at 6'3” and competitiveness as a two way prospect. As an offensive player he runs the floor for buckets, has some skill, handles well in the open floor, and can hit an open three. Defensively he was excellent getting multiple steals including taking them coast to coast. Blocked multiple shots of other wings.

SF [player_tooltip player_id='2532316' first='Chaden' last='Harvey'] (De La Salle – 2027)

This 2027 6'1” shooting guard had a big showing at the Prep Hoops Camp and showed more at Pangos. Big bodied wing that gets to the line and finishes in transition. Also had a nice reverse layup.

SF [player_tooltip player_id='2390391' first='Khevel' last='Diambuana'] (Romeoville – 2027)

You have to like the size, strength, and motor out of this 6'5” combo forward. Strong takes in transition finishing through contact. Good rebounder that uses his long arms to corral the rebounds.

SG [player_tooltip player_id='2255121' first='David' last='Showman'] (Wheaton Warrenville South – 2027)

Big game for this 6'3” shooting guard. He is a plus shooter off the catch. Gritty on the glass for put backs and can finish in the paint off physical slashes. Crisp mid-range pull up game.

SG Blake McPhearson (Michelle Clark – 2027)

The 5'8” strong bodied undersized wing is a fun player to watch. He plays with a high-motor and makes plays. Spin move in the lane for layup along with a soft touch finishing runner.

SG [player_tooltip player_id='2490487' first='Torrey' last='Barrett'] (Mt. Carmel – 2027)

Interesting player here. He is a super springy athlete with projectability that flashes, but is raw. Used the athleticism getting on the glass for put backs and converting reverse layups at the rim.

SG [player_tooltip player_id='2632053' first='Thomas' last='Hayes'] (North Lawndale – 2027)

Hayes is a 6'2” shooting guard who put his name on the map with a big performance at Pangos. Knocked in deep pull up threes and was super slick taking it to the rack for scores in the lane. Scoop shots in traffic and explosive straight line takes. Also had an alley-oop finish.
