The Minnesota Sophomore ID Camp: Best of the Outstate

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The majority of the 163 attendees at the Sophomore ID Camp were from the Metro but there were outstate names at the event that need to be noted for the next three seasons!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2417091' first='Isiah' last='Boyer'] of Becker. Get to know this point guard, seems like he will be one of the better ones from the St. Cloud area in his class. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2126126' first='Ray' last='Brau'] of Hibbing. Ray is one of the players that we know a lot about already as he is one of the best players in all of outstate Minnesota regardless of class. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2357544' first='Cole' last='Davis'] of Maple River. Cole is one of the best players at the camp so he is obviously going to be one of the better outstate players in his class. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2524646' first='Griffin' last='Epema'] of Montevideo. This attacking guard at 6'1 is skilled, tough, smart and uses leverage well. He is going to have a heck of a career with some big numbers at his school.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2381221' first='Carter' last='Lowis'] of LCWM. Lowis is some core strength work and some skill work on the court with footwork and touch away from being a scholarship prospect. If he works at it, the opportunity is there. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2138701' first='Mat' last='Matejka'] of Dover-Eyota. A 6'3, strong and skilled player that had a great freshman year last year and followed that with a nice year with the Lightning (when he wasn't mashing the ball playing baseball). </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2140710' first='Willie' last='Moore'] of Owatonna. Moore is an attacking guard with some fight to him that I think will be one of the top underclassmen players in the Big Nine this year. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2126865' first='Grady' last='Starzl'] of Alexandria. I didn't get a chance to see Grady last weekend but he was listed and this seems like a good chance to mention his activity at 6'5 and how I think he will be a solid frontcourt depth piece for the Cards this year. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2132770' first='Carson' last='Stratmoen'] of Dawson-Boyd. With the size that the Jacks have up front, they will need shooters to get pressure off them, maybe Carson will be one of those guys. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2375788' first='William' last='Thiemann'] of Triton. This is a forward with really good potential. He's one of the top five or ten players that I didn't know about coming in that I think can have a really good three year varsity career. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
