Jones is a strong interior presence who protects the paint and anchors the defense. He rebounds effectively, securing boards and limiting second-chance opportunities for opponents. Offensively, he finishes well around the basket and consistently scores on the inside. His physicality and toughness make him a constant factor in the post on both ends of the floor.

Jones was a monster inside and converted gimme buckets often for his East Catholic team. If he has you sealed on the block there is no way you are getting around him. He is very nimble around the blocks and showcases his soft feet and hands. Jones was a frequent customer at the charity stripe. He is in great spots to collect rebounds. He does a nice job of staying within himself and not looking to force things into existence. He found ways to gather steals. Jones is going to be a priority for mid major programs.

Making his spring debut after moving over to the City Rocks, Jones had no issue effectively bringing his physical, blue-collar style into a setting. The numbers weren’t gaudy, but he was a consistent factor in the paint on both ends while carving out space as a rebounder, screen-setter, and opportunistic interior scorer. His ability to defend larger players with his strength and physicality will be key for a City Rocks team that lacks a true low-post presence. While he plays more of a feature role in the winter, Jones’ ability and willingness to do the grunt work is sure to earn him valuable points in the eyes of college coaches.

Brayden Jones Brayden Jones 6'7" | PF Brewster | 2026 State New E showed off a lot of interesting skills for a power forward. He scored well in the post on the block, manipulating his body to hit fadeaways off the glass by rising over the top of defenders. He would grab rebounds and push the pace, making strong outlet passes to his teammates for them to score easy buckets. His cutting off the ball was also marvelous, getting open and finishing some awesome reverse layups multiple times.

Jones, who spent the summer on the travel circuit with the New York Renaissance, is one of the region’s top under the radar prospects. A bouncy forward with a legit low post game, Jones plays at one of New England’s top public programs in East Catholic. He’s quick of the floor, has great length, and can finish with authority off one or two feet. He shows a good feel for the game as a roller out of ball screens and does a good job as both a finisher and distributor when he catches on the move. He’s a solid offensive rebounder, knows how to find open space, and runs the floor hard in transition. Defensively, he’s a versatile prospect that can move his feet well laterally and protect the rim from the help side. He’s already gaining scholarship attention and should be one of the region’s top stock risers this winter.
