This update was a massive one with a total of 250 prospects ranked and 39 new additions.
There’s not a real debate on the #1 prospect, with

with a firm grasp on the #1 ranking. He recently committed to South Dakota State University. The 6’10 Big that can play on the perimeter and shoot the three, will mostly likely not settle less than for a state championship in his final season. They were runner-up last season.
Goodbary being in his own tier, tier 2 of the 2025 rankings is the #2-#6 ranked prospects. The top 6 remain the same. A prospect that has been picking up some recruiting buzz, moves from #10 to #7. A prospect that has been securing solid offers jumps from #20 to #8. The #8-#25 ranked prospects could be considered tier 3 and be ranked in a number of manners. Prospects ranked #26-#52 could be the next round grouped together, with prospects ranked after that being difficult to rank and could also be arranged very differently from person to person that has a solid grasp on South Dakota High School basketball.
Keep in mind that some AA prospects that haven’t yet received meaningful varsity playing time are not docked for that reason, because there is a ton of depth and talent at the AA level. So individual skill and other considerable traits are taken into factor, not judging a prospect solely based on varsity playing time.
Also, prospects are ranked, especially the top prospects, by how they project as college contributors and what level they might be recruited by.
