We released our updated Class of 2026 Prospect Rankings right at the end of June. That was a very busy period of time fresh off of the Charlie Hughes Showcase and heading into the July grassroots season. Due to the busy schedule at the time, we at Prep Hoops Indiana feel like our rankings content, generally some of our most popular, didn't get the attention that it deserves. Therefore, we will spend this quieter period in August revisiting our rankings content. First, we simply re-released the Class of 2026 Prospect Rankings themselves. Now, we will dive into more content including additional summer stock-risers, new names, under-the-radar Watch List prospects, and much more.

We highlighted Haffner as a stock-riser back in early July when the rankings first came out. However, he played so well throughout the summer that he deserved being mentioned once again. Haffner, a 6'4″ sharpshooter, has bolted up the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2026 Prospect Rankings from #61 to #20 in this update. He has proven himself as one of the best catch-and-shoot threats in the state of Indiana while showcasing excellent positional size and length on the perimeter. College coaches have taken notice.

Shrewsberry has fluctuated a bit in our Prep Hoops Indiana Prospect Rankings since moving in prior to his sophomore season when his father, Coach Micah Shrewsberry, took the Notre Dame job. The 6'4" sharpshooter had a great summer though and will likely climb his way back up several spots when we release our next 2026 update. He was a standout with [program_tooltip program_id='2400093' first='Indiana' last='Elite Team Tradition'] 16u in Rock Hill at the 3SSB Palmetto Road Championship proving himself as an elite shooter against high-level competition.

A guard we have remained high on for awhile now, Webster has proven himself as one of the more dynamic playmakers in the Class of 2026. Webster is excellent with the ball in his hands displaying a tight handle, explosive change of direction, and the ability to make pinpoint passes from a live dribble. Lawrence North will once again be one of the top teams in the state of Indiana with an excellent backcourt. Look for Webster to really start to make a name for himself this winter.

Another prospect that we highlight as a stock-riser back in early July, Petty was excellent through the rest of the summer and once again deserves to be mentioned. He has good positional size and length on the perimeter at 6'5″ to go along with some really impressive catch-and-shoot ability. Petty should have a big junior season alongside a couple very talented teammates in the backcourt at North Central High School. Above all else, it has been Petty's catch-and-shoot ability from three-point range that has really elevated his game. Intriguing college prospect to start to keep tabs on.

Highlighted as a "New Name" in early July in conjugation with our Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2026 Prospect Rankings, Stephens had a great finish to the summer and is now deservedly being recognized as a stock-riser. One of the standouts for [program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''] as they dominated the Prep Hoops Circuit in the spring which included winning the inaugural Indiana State Championship and a strong showing at the Grit Region Finals. Stephens has excellent physical and athletic tools at 6'5″ on the wing. He is super long and bouncy, excellent in transition, and was a consistently impactful defender throughout the spring and summer. After getting his feet wet in a handful of games at the varsity level as a sophomore, look for Stephens to really blossom into a larger role for the Pike Red Devils as a junior.

Gardner ended the summer on a high note playing at the GRBA National Championships. The 6'2" guard is one of the best shooters in Indiana's Class of 2026 and certainly had that on display in the final weekend of grassroots basketball in Fort Wayne. His shot-making ability from the perimeter opens up some things off of the dribble for him as well. The Martinsville High School product is still under-the-radar on a statewide basis, but another year putting up big scoring numbers this winter should start to change that.

Already considered a Top 100 prospect in the Class of 2026 by Prep Hoops Indiana, Ford really stood out during the summer playing with INB Elite on the Prep Hoops Circuit and could see a jump in our next release. The talented scorer had some big games in the month of July creating his own shot off of the dribble, finishing at a high percentage at the end of his drives, and flashing some playmaking ability for others as well. He should step into more of a go-to role for Brebeuf Jesuit this season filling some big shoes from what they lost to graduation.

[program_tooltip program_id='2076924' first='EG10' last=''] had a lot of success on the Prep Hoops Circuit this spring and summer which including a 16u title at the Indiana State Tournament and a strong showing in July at the Grit Region Finals. A smaller, but dynamic, point guard has really proven himself as a playmaker against high level competition. He will be a key piece in Brownsburg's backcourt this season as a junior and could start to work his way towards the Top 100 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2026 Prospect Rankings.
