He keeps getting better and better at it, and every time I see him, he looks like more and more of a next-level guard shooter. Jalen is great off the ball and does all the little things well. It feels like he never stops moving, and one of the things I liked about him was the way he interacted with "new" teammates. Qayden did what he does best today, knocking down shots from three and showing off his high-level offensive talent. He drove to the rim well and knocked down a handful of tough jump shots. He skied for rebounds and knocked down a few shots. Josiah is a good passer and defender, and he had a rebound in which he jumped about as high as I've seen anyone jump for a board in a long time. He had a few moves to get to his mid-range or the rim that reminded you why he's one of the best guards in the state. He did what he does best, knocking down three after three. He had some great moves to get his shot off and knock them down. Jasiah hit the biggest shot of the day, a half-court buzzer-beater that sent his team to the final. Jasiah was terrific in the final, especially early. He was great rolling to the basket and finishing at the rim with dunks and layups. He was a solid defensive presence and rebounded well.
