Edwards led the way for the ZeroXcuses backcourt at the 252 Summer Finale with relative ease. He showed he could attack on the break but also make things happen in the halfcourt when things slowed down. His prowess and athleticism attacking the rim aren't easy to find in today's recruiting landscape. He's prime for a big junior season at Greenfield School. It was fun watching him play alongside other prospects like [player_tooltip player_id='1917812' first='Denelly' last='Coppedge'], [player_tooltip player_id='1948021' first='CJ' last='Rosser'], [player_tooltip player_id='1411219' first='Shimere' last='Garris'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1281016' first='Kingston' last='Beale'] as well. They proved they could hold their own and play winning basketball together and it showed in the result as they took home the 16U Gold Championship.

Rosser played up a division with some top 16U names and didn't show any signs of slowing down as he took home MVP honors with a 17-point outing in the championship game. He didn't force things and did well to anchor things in the paint with his length. He showed he could knock down shots on the perimeter, attack the paint and create free throw opportunities for himself all weekend long as he continues to climb up the radar as a national prospect. He's a wiry wing/forward prospect with a bright future ahead of him at Northern Nash High in the 2027 class.

Brown was a standout performer with [program_tooltip program_id='2078552' first='WBC' last='Elite'] in the 16U division as he showed he could knock down shots, handle the ball and hold his own in the painted area, sporting a stronger frame. He's a prospect who's continued to develop in the 2026 class out of New Hanover High over the past few years. He was consistent with his scoring prowess, showing he could knock down shots both off the catch and off the bounce, nearly averaging 18 points per game in the [program_tooltip program_id='2078552' first='WBC' last='Elite'] balanced scoring attack. He's a budding name to get to know in the 2026 class.

Winbourne was impressive for CP3 East 2027 as they played up in age at the 252 Summer Finale in the 16U division to close things out. He went off for 22 points, showing off his ability to play off the ball and knock down shots in a variety of ways when needed. He emerges as a new face to get to know in the 2027 class out of Greenfield School given his pedigree for scoring in bunches. He stepped up in a big way as they took down [program_tooltip program_id='2078552' first='WBC' last='Elite'] in the semifinals 75-67. He showed he could his own on a bigger stage this past weekend and put himself squarely on the PH radar in the process.

Hawkins is a name who continues to climb up the PH radar with TSG Hoops out of New Bern High. He's a competitive scoring guard who can score the ball in a variety of ways with his ability to handle ball pressure and navigate defenses. He was impressive in showing off his ability to attack off the bounce and shoot the ball on the perimeter. He finished with 21 points in the Silver Championship game as TSG Hoops took home an 82-77 victory. He's a prospect for DII and DIII programs in the region to keep an eye on in ENC.
