The KABC Titans Shootout was a great live period event with dozens of college coaches in attendance watching the 128 teams that were invited to the event. In this article we'll break down the standout performers from Sunday of the event.

The 64-team bracket championship went to overtime and it was a Dillingham shot with just a few seconds left that pushed St Xavier to victory. Dillingham also made some key plays late in the semifinal win over Louisville Male. Throughout the championship game Dillingham was impressive with his ability to use his quickness to get into the lane and either look to score or distribute to a teammate. Undersized, Dillingham hasn't let his lack of size stop him from getting buckets on some of the top teams in Kentucky and on the Made Hoops Circuit. One of the more talented offensive guards in Kentucky's 2025 class.

I was really impressed with Krezmien as he was spacing the floor for Saint Xavier and making an impact on both ends of the court. With the ability to stretch the defense to 3-point range, this helps give Krezmien's teammates the space to drive and score at the rim. Combine that with his size to rebound on both ends of the court and rim protection, Krezmien is both a valuable high school player and a priority small college prospect for regional college programs.

I caught Gutman both Saturday night and Sunday morning and he had polar opposite performances. After struggling for a majority of the game on Saturday, Gutman came out on a mission Sunday morning with a handful of college coaches watching his game. He was knocking down 3-point shots from the wing, throwing down dunks in transition off steals and making chase down blocks at the rim. One of the more under the radar prospects in Kentucky's 2025 class, Gutman was seen by the right Division I coaches to potentially land his first offer of that level.

One of the highest profile prospects in Kentucky's 2025 class, Boone was playing with Woodford County this weekend. One of the top athletes in Kentucky, Boone had a monster poster dunk against Daviees County in an impressive win on Sunday afternoon. Also knocking down a couple 3-pointers, Boone's shot leads to him jumping a few feet forward when he's well behind the line. Also one of the top defenders in Kentucky, Boone made some impact plays on that end of the court as well. Holding five Division I offers, I saw each of those schools this weekend watching Boone as he's a priority for a handful of regional programs.

Rumored to be transferring to Huntington Prep, McDaniels was getting busy for Jeffersontown in what could be the last time you see him wearing that uniform. Trying to make basketball his sport of choice at the next level, McDaniels still has the football build with lots of weight and muscle. Despite that, McDaniels has soft touch on mid-range jumpers and enough explosiveness to throw down dunks when given a runway. A physical player on both ends, McDaniels is a tough match-up at the local high school level due to his strength and motor. McDaniels will hope to see his recruitment pick up this July and during the winter if he officially makes the move to the midwestern prep powerhouse.

The 32 team Saturday/Sunday bracket was dominated by Ohio teams with 7 of the 8 quarterfinalists being from Ohio. I caught Dublin Coffman against Huber Heights Wayne and was really impressed with what Clifton showed me. A wing who can shoot it off the catch, Clifton impacted the game in more ways than just shooting. With a couple euro-steps to finish at the paint, Clifton was able to score off drives and cuts. Defensively, Clifton blocked a shot and got a couple steals by being active in the passing lanes. A small college priority recruit, Clifton and Dublin Coffman are poised for a big 2024-25 season.
