In a low scoring highly competitive matchup against Southern California power Corona Centennial, Simcoe showed off his ability to effectively space the floor knocking down a couple of threes and his ability to finish around the rim with multiple easy baskets through contact and dunks as well. In total, Simcoe finished with 26 points, 17 rebounds, and four blocks and sent the Eagles into the winners side of the bracket to play on Saturday.
Later in the evening, a pair of preseason top 15 teams faced off on the main court in the stadium as Millennium faced Northern California power St Joseph. Through the first half, no one on the Tigers besides Tosi could get into a rhythm offensively as Millennium found themselves down 20 trying to fight back. Coming out of halftime, Tosi was the spark that ignited a 55 point second half for the Tigers as Kingston finished with 38 points on an impressive 72% from the field and two blocks as well as an array of deflections. Without Tosi, the Tigers would’ve been in the losers side of the bracket but he helped propel Millennium into the quarterfinals.
Joseph Lindsey Jr Joseph Lindsey Jr 6'0" | PG Carl Hayden | 2026 State AZ : The Carl Hayden point guard has elevated the Falcons roster with his play style throughout the Sunmer so far and once again his play helped propel Carl Hayden into the winners bracket. Lindsey knocked down five threes to chip in to his team high 17 points in a 57-56 victory over Mission Bay (CA) and sent the Falcons into the second round of bracket play.
TJ Harris TJ Harris 6'0" | PG Liberty | 2026 State AZ : Harris after transferring over from Paradise Honors was bound to play a big role in a fast paced Liberty offensive scheme. On Friday in front of multiple division one programs, Harris got to showcase why he’s one of the smoothest guards in the 2026 class. He chipped in multiple assists and was stellar at pushing the pace against a tough Pacifica Christian defense. He ran the offense well and his play helped lead Liberty into the second round of bracket play.
