Johnson recently announced his commitment to Fayetteville State all while enjoying a really impactful season at The Burlington School. Johnson’s ability to play on or off the ball allows him to easily gel with the other talented guards on this roster. TBS has played a really difficult schedule and put themselves in line for another run at the NCISAA 2A title. For 16-10 The Burlington School, Johnson is averaging 14.4 Points, 2.2 Rebounds, 2.4 Assists, and 1.4 Steals per game. Add in the 45/39/67 shooting splits and you find yourself with an efficient backcourt contributor. Johnson has deep range off the catch and the handle + feel to make plays for himself and others off the bounce. Johnson does a good job spotting up in transition for high efficiency looks from deep. He does a great job moving without the ball for a kid who has spent a ton of time in his career with the ball in his hands. I fully expect Johnson to be a key piece in TBS’s quest for another State Championship.

Johnson helped contribute to The Burlington School’s record breaking day and weekend with his performance. Johnson finished with 20 Points and 4 Rebounds on 7-12 from the floor and 6-10 from the beyond the arc. Johnson’s ability to play both on or off the ball is such an asset to this TBS team with a lot of talent on it. The lefty has a quick trigger, deep range, and a ton of big game experience that has him ready for any moment. Johnson is a no brainer next level talent that should continue to garner a lot of attention from the coaches of his level as the season winds down. When he’s making shots like he did in this one, TBS is really really tough to beat.

The lefty combo guard out of The Burlington School walked away as the leading scorer on the weekend. He got to his spots at will all weekend, while continuously knocking down jumpershot after jumpershot leading his team to the semi finals. It was my first time seeing the Loaded 336 squad and he is one to watch during the next live periods.

Johnson is starting to make his mark on the perimeter attack for The Burlington School. He went for eight points while knocking down two 3-pointers in showing he could knock down shots when given opportunities. He’s a prospect to track early in the 2026 class given his shooting stroke on the perimeter.

Johnson is a new face in The Burlington School backcourt who should really boost their bench rotation given his skill set. He’s shown he can be instant offense with his ability to attack the painted area, get paint touches and find others in the open court for buckets. He’s an underrated guard to get to know in the 2026 class.
