Miles continues to show that he is one of the top prospects in the state’s 2025 class. He threw down a pair of thunderous dunks in the open floor in the one game I saw, as he is an above the rim level athlete. He knocked down a couple looks from beyond the arc, being a major threat off the catch. He can also use a pump fake to get around his defender to make strong drives to the basket, where he is usually fouled or converting on a tough finish. Newton is having a breakout spring.

Ross absolutely dominated the interior in the one game I saw him in. He has a built 6’8” frame and was using that to his advantage inside. He had a couple different ways he could convert around the rim, getting all the way to the cup for contested layups or using some finesse with floaters from a couple feet out. He also looked capable of stretching the floor, doing some damage from beyond the arc. Robertson was a physical defender down low and could snag contested rebounds as well.

JP is such a versatile player and he was finding success in many different areas on Saturday. He did most of his scoring around the basket in transition, where his combination of length and athleticism come into play in a big way. He is a knockdown shooter from the perimeter and needs to be accounted for at all times by off-ball defenders. Musoke can also guard a multitude of different positions and can get in passing lanes for steals.
Nate had a fantastic performance in a Saturday win, scoring 16 first half points. He has a lengthy 6’6” frame which makes him a very intriguing prospect with the combination of his skill on the perimeter. He can pull up from three off the dribble or work without the ball for catch-and-shoot looks. Chavez was also a difference maker on the boards, using his length to grab contested offensive rebounds for tough second chance baskets around the rim.

Monteff was a beast inside for Minnesota Gold on Saturday. He has a super strong 6’5” frame and was using that to his advantage all game. He is relentless when attacking the rim and is always looking to make something happen when the ball is in his hands. He was drawing fouls and converting on finishes through multiple defenders at a time. He is a great interior presence on the defensive end, picking up some blocks and playing great post defense. Dixon also showed off his athleticism with a high flying dunk in the open floor.

Max put his team on his back in a tight win on Saturday. He stands at 6’5” and does the majority of his scoring from the perimeter. He was effective when shooting off the catch, as well as off the dribble. He has super smooth mechanics and has a high release, which makes him pretty difficult to contest. He also showed flashes of creating off the dribble, using a barrage of moves to get around his defender for a left handed layup. Kraay is a fiery competitor and was running with his high school team this weekend.

Amari had an impressive showing this weekend, having some breakout performances. His game has a great balance of athleticism, skill, and shooting, being able to do a little bit of everything out on the wing. In the game I saw, he started off hot from the perimeter. The defense was leaving him open and he took full advantage, sinking several catch-and-shoot triples. He can also get downhill for different kinds of finishes, with floaters and strong takes to the rim.
