Hit the career 3,000 point mark tonight and just as importantly really gutted one out to give his team a victory vs a tough higher ranked opponent team. Started with 3 consecutive 3’s in the first 2 minutes of the game. Was able to create contact in multiple scenarios including with his dribble, taking it to the rim, initiating post moves, or while rebounding. Did so on multiple defenders to go to the charity stripe a lot tonight. Counted up to 6 different defenders who tried to guard him and still scored atleast 30 points. Was face guarded at times or double teamed within 10 feet once receiving a pass. Hit 4 consecutive free throws in the last minute of the game to seal a win in his last regular season high school basketball game.

Played the post position against a zone today and tried to gain positioning to the best of his ability while using his body to his advantage. Pretty confident when he catches it down low and had plenty of finishes today in the paint. Had a nice cut and finish with an And 1. Seems to dribble it just fine if he needs to bring it down for his team.

Ross absolutely dominated the interior in the one game I saw him in. He has a built 6’8” frame and was using that to his advantage inside. He had a couple different ways he could convert around the rim, getting all the way to the cup for contested layups or using some finesse with floaters from a couple feet out. He also looked capable of stretching the floor, doing some damage from beyond the arc. Robertson was a physical defender down low and could snag contested rebounds as well.

This was my first time seeing Ross play in a couple of years, and the 6’8 forward didn’t disappoint. He came out stretching the floor from deep, showing an unorthodox but effective release on his jumper. That forced opposing forwards to defend him close beyond the arc, so it opened things up for Ross to use a shot-fake and attack to get into the paint. Does a nice job of playing off of two feet and creating openings with his footwork around the basket. Strong and skilled forward in the 2025 class.
