We attended a fall workout at Fort Wayne Snider High School in the fall, but we haven’t yet seen the Panthers play this season. DeRossett is having an excellent sophomore year and we are looking forward to getting an updated evaluation on the talented 6’5″ left-handed shooter. He is averaging 9.3 points per game while shooting 32-69 (46.4%) from three-point range. That catch-and-shoot ability is what makes him such an intriguing prospect.

. DeRossett is 4th on the team for Sndier in scoring averaging 9.3 points but is also averaging 3.2 rebounds per game, as well. He is a smooth, athletic, left-handed guard that is just a big time scorer. Next season, he will be the main man for Snider but you can still expect him to have a big final month of this season.

Named one of the top performers, 6’4” Wing Chance Derossett of Snider had the full offensive arsenal on full display at the Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp. Smooth, athletic left-handed wing is a big time scorer that does it from all over the floor. Confident shooter with deep range and once he sees the ball go through the basket he’s tough to stop. Was able to get to the rim at will where he finished above the rim several times. Versatile defender with length was aggressive in passing lanes looking to turn defense to offense.

DeRossett has noticeably gotten bigger. Not only has the left-handed guard grown to about 6’5″, but he has packed on some muscle to his frame as well. He is still a good athlete and moves very well on the perimeter, but that extra size and strength should really help him take his game to the next level as a sophomore now at Fort Wayne Snider High School. DeRossett did a little bit of everything offensive at the Sophomore ID Camp earning top performer honors.

DeRossett is one of the most talented sophomore prospects in the Fort Wayne area and should settle into a role this season at Snider High School after bouncing between Wayne and Huntington North as a freshman. The sharpshooting left-handed guard has great positional size on the perimeter and an impressive pop of athleticism when attacking the basket. It will be good to get an updated evaluation of DeRossett at our upcoming Sophomore ID Camp.

This talented 6’3″ left-handed guard burst onto the scene over the summer when he helped lead Team Robinson to the Prep Hoops Circuit Grit Region Finals 15u Championship Game while playing up a year. DeRossett is a fluid athlete with a pure outside shooting stroke. His freshman season got broken up a bit as he left Fort Wayne Wayne early in the season and is just now getting settled at Huntington North, but he is deserving of Top 25 status for now.

There is a lot of talent at Fort Wayne Wayne High School right now as the Generals look for a potential third straight Regional title. The 6’3″ left-handed sharpshooter has impressive athleticism and positional size for a freshman. He first jumped onto our radar at the end of the summer when he played a key role, while playing up a year, in leading Team Robinson Basketball to the 15u championship game at the Prep Hoops Circuit Grit Region Finals. He will have a chance to crack the varsity rotation sooner rather than later.

We first got eyes on this Fort Wayne Wayne product at the Prep Hoops Circuit Grit Region Finals as he helped lead Team Robinson 2027 to the championship game of the 15u division while playing up a year. The 6’3″ left-handed guard is one of the best catch-and-shoot prospects in the class. He had his jump shot working on Sunday at the Freshman Showcase making numerous three-point shots from varying depths. One of the most talented young prospects in Fort Wayne.

DeRossett played up with Team Robinson 15u in some Prep Hoops Circuit events which included the Grit Region Finals where he played a big part in leading them to the championship game. The 6’2″ left-handed guard is an outstanding shooting threat and that will be what could get him on the floor earlier in his career. Fort Wayne Wayne is loaded with talent, but don’t be surprised to see him play his way into some minutes for the Generals. He is a smooth operator offensively and can really shoot it.
