Florida Top 250 Expo Prospect Report: Tryick Brascom (2018)
2018 Tampa Bay Tech guard Tyrick Brascom was one of 53 upperclassmen and 86 total prospects in attendance at the Prep Hoops Florida Top 250 Expo on Saturday, Sept. 30th at DME Academy in Daytona Beach.
I sat down with Brascom to talk about his time at the expo.
Q: What was your experience like in Daytona at the Prep Hoops Top 250 Expo?
A: It went pretty well because it was more competition than I imagined.
Q: Where did you first hear about it?
A: I follow Prep Hoops on Twitter so when they first tweeted it.
Q: What was the best thing you learned?
A: To stick to what you do and things will eventually fall through.
Q: What positive in your game grew? What negative in your game did you notice and try to fix?
A: How I attack the goal is something I always did well but choosing when to drive or to shoot is what I need to work on.
Q: Would you recommend the expo to your peers? How come?
A: Yes, I would because it seems like everybody knows what they talking about.
Q: What is your role looking like this season?
A: My role is a little bigger than last year and I know a lot will take a toll on me.
Brascom is a pure scorer. The 5’9″ senior has been a true leader for Tampa Bay Tech and his AAU team Skills Center Elite the past few seasons. The Titans went undefeated last regular season and will look to duplicate their success with the main cast returning. Brascom is a guy to watch always.
