This is a season recap article that will be talking about my favorite players. These are not the best players but players I would love to have on my team.
Vanderwalker is a transfer to Delaware Hayes this year and it took his team to the next level. He is a big strong physical kid that’s great athleticism and skill to go along with it. His physicality takes his game and separates him from most. He uses his strength to dictate contact on both ends of the floor. He can defend almost every position on the floor and will bully anyone. He finishes the ball strong and has a great touch. When he was in the game for the Regional Final Hayes was in dominant control. He is the most impactful player I watched this year and was someone that I loved watching. He is tough. He has the skill and touch. He is athletic. Just have whatever you want.

Isaiah Wilson
Isaiah Wilson
Wilson is a very underrated player in my mind. He has a lot of what you want in a point guard. He is tough and a good athlete. He can score the ball very well for his size and has a lot of skill. He is a quick guard that can get around anyone. He works in very straight-line drives. He is a short but stocky guard who absorbs and dictates contact well for his size. He has a really good ability to score around the rim. He is a consistent scorer too. He can heat up and be really difficult to stop when his shot is falling. He is a tough point guard with a good IQ. I love players like that.
Nicolas is a physical freak who can dominate any player in the paint. He was doing it all you want a big man to do in the game I saw him play in this year. He is a strong, tough, and competitive kid. He is undersized and big as far as height but in strength, he can bang with anyone. He is a monster on the boards due to his great leaping ability. He can get the ball in places and no one else can for rebounds and blocks. He is a great rim protector. He blocks and alters a ton of shots. You have to gameplay for it. He can finish with both hands and runs the floor well. He is more athletic than a lot of other forwards. Takes him to a new level.

Henlon is one of the best defenders I have seen play this year. He gets in your shorts and is one of the best on-ball pressure defenders I have seen. His lateral quickness and high motor allow him to be able to guard anyone. He can apply so much pressure that it causes turnovers and ruins offenses because they cannot run it how they want. He makes them work for everything. He makes their offense start from way more outside than the other team wants. Henlon can also do a little bit of it all on the offensive end. He has a good shot and makes some tough finishes. He is a real slept-on player who will be seen in front of a ton of coaches for the Ohio Buckets this AAU season!

West is the best player on this list. He is simply elite. He does everything at an elite level and does a little bit of it all. He has no holes in his games. He has gotten more consistent with his shot and it’s taken his game to another level. He plays the game the right way. He is a score-first guard that can do it from anywhere on the floor. He has a really good midrange pull-up game. He is an elite finisher around the rim. West does a great job of doing it acrobatically. His ability to shoot the ball off the dribble is elite. He is a smooth athlete who continues to get more athletic over the years. He has been fun to watch and develop.
