Ladson scored 17 points and dished out 4 assists while being money at the free throw line to help the VIP Kings win the Prep Hoops Circuit Grit Region Championship. The 6’1″ guard had a couple of other big, double-figure scoring outputs throughout the weekend as well. He is a confident playmaker off of the bounce that found success getting to the rim and finishing inside. Another Trinity High School product, Ladson is more than capable as a catch-and-shoot threat as well. He played very well at the Grit Region Finals and is taking home the hardware to show for it.

The VIP Kings play so well together and are consistently one of the best teams in our events. Their 4-0 weekend at the Havoc in the Heartland proved that once again. Ladson was impressive in the game we watched scoring in double-figures, but also playing a big role in their excellent ball movement. His ability to orchestrate the offense is a big reason for their sustained success.

Ladson definitely deserves to recognized for his play at the Queen City Classic. He helped lead the VIP Kings to a 3-1 record over the course of the weekend. They were 1 of only 5 teams that left with a record above .500. Ladson averaged around 15-16 points a game and was impressive in doing so. The highlight of his performance definitely came in a hard fought win against the Blue Water Hurricanes. In this game, Ladson went off for a game high 26 points. He showed the ability to groove his jumper from behind the arc, hitting 6 triples in the game.
