The 6-foot-9 forward has the instincts to get into passing lanes and block shots, he does a good job rebounding and getting position under the hoop. At his size, he moves pretty well too and has shown the touch to hit the midrange shot with good consistency. He’ll need to get stronger and develop some go-to post moves to be a bigger threat on the offensive end, but he shows a lot of potential to be a two-way impact player and should get bigger minutes next fall after going in and out of O’Dea’s starting five this past season.

Woodard was solid all weekend long crashing the glass, using his length and some athleticism to attack the ball and rip down boards, and was able to provide some solid interior defense at times. He was pretty smart with the rock too, hitting some free throw line jumpers in space, not trying to do too much in traffic, and making quick decisions to keep the offense flowing.

Woodard already moves extremely well for a kid his size. He’s a solid shot-blocker and deterrent at the rim, rebounds fairly well, and can get up and down the floor with ease. For Woodard, adding strength will help his game a lot. It’s something that will come with time and when he is stronger with the ball he has the makeup to do some damage in the paint. He could have a bright future ahead of him.

A tall forward at 6-foot-8 who shows some promise to develop into a real inside-outside threat. Plays big at the rim, moves pretty fluidly and shows some ability to take his man off the bounce and get to the rim. Can run the floor and defend the paint well.
