The event featured players from the class of 2025, 2026, 2027 and 2028 all looking for the opportunity to increase, or in the case of the 2028 class get on the rankings radar. Let’s face it, the main draw for this event was for players looking to increase their rankings. Here’s a look at some of the events top Stockrisers.
Arnold looks more and more like a prospect everytime I see him. He checks out as a shooter, and flashed some playmaking ability. His athleticism is what really showed during the event. He has a good burst and was able to play above the rim. Look for the wing sniper to make a move up the next rankings.
Denson is a player that has shown steady improvement. He used the event to display some much improved ball skills. He finished COD’s with layups at the rim, and showed an advanced array of finishing moves. As always he played good D, getting his hands in the passing lanes, turning offense to defense.
If he goes back and looks at the film, Gilbert is going to see a nice highlight package. The thing that stood out the most was his handle. He made several quick COD’s proving to be one of the surprisingly more advanced 1 v 1 players in the class of 2026 games.
Look for Fralin to become a more intriguing players in the class of 2025. He has good size, and showed tremndous explosion and quickness. He has a skill, and that’s his ability to rebound. With size at a premium, the physical forward has a chance to rise in the next rankings.
Consider me a card carrying member of the Brice Wilson Brice Wilson 5’9″ | CG Sunrise Mountain | 2026 State NV fanclub. When going back to watch the tape, two things jump out at me. The guard played as hard as anyone at the event, and had a knack for grabbing rebounds. He had a breakout sophomore year, and I can see why, the guard was relentless on the defensive end, and the backboards all game.
Sito has some “IT” to his game. He threw a behind the back pass off the dribble, in the lane to a corner shooter. You couldn’t walked over and handed the ball to the guy any better. In fact the pass was so good, you forget about the fact that it was his athletic ability that stole the show, as he played above the rim on several occasions. The bouncy wing perfectly positioned himself for a chance to rise.
It’s rare that a 2028 stockrises, partly because their rankings haven’t been released yet. The improvment that I saw from Edmonds from the Las Vegas Middle School Combine to now, told me that he’s a clear canidate for a player to move up from where I would have had him ranked. He ran the floor a lot better, and displayed a nice soft touch around the rim. At 6’4 230 if he continues to grow and develop his game, he’ll have a shot to be near the top of the rankings for his class.
