He got the crowd on their feet with a two-handed fast break dunk early in the first half and was flying around the floor making plays on the defensive end. He is one of the fastest players in the state and was jumping passing lanes for easy steals, resulting in transition opportunities. He was getting downhill for finishes through contact, converting on a couple three-point plays. His athleticism was the first trait that stood out to me. He threw down a pair of two-handed dunks and had a high flying chase down block. He also showed his versatile offensive game, being able to score from all three levels. He was using his size and speed to get to the basket and finish through contact. He could hit a pull-up in the mid-range and use the dribble to create space for shots from beyond the arc. He is automatic around the basket, knowing how to avoid his shot from being blocked. He can also knock down looks from deep, being able to pull up off the dribble or get shots off quick off the catch. He is great in the pick and roll, being able to find a teammate for a layup or score himself. He was hitting shots from deep to start the game and had the entire Washburn offense run through him the whole contest. He is so versatile when working in the post, being able to score in a variety of ways and look over the defense to find open teammates. He scored a team-high 25 points with a handful of rebounds and assists. He is an excellent on-ball defender, picking up with high effort and intensity from start to finish. He scored a team-high 16 points, having to battle for every basket against a tough Farmington team. He did most of his scoring around the basket, having the ability to blow by defenders on his way to difficult finish. He also connected with a couple triples off of the dribble. He is one of the best in the state at creating separation using the dribble with different combinations of crossovers and step backs. He also has great touch around the basket, being able to convert on tough acrobatic layups through multiple defenders.
